Yes Im still mad.

That SB 49 costed the dynasty. and others couldn't get a ring.
So you're mad at Lynch because the Hawks chose to pass the ball? You're not making any sense.
If any Seahawk cost us a super bowl it was Percy Harvin. We would've won 2 or 3 if we didn't trade for him.

Well, he did deserve it. Meyer's could have gotten it as well.

Walker seems like the most soft spoken humble guy.

sorry but still hate Lynch. Because of his attitude and diversions cost the Hawks a 2nd ring.

Lynch put the offense on his back soooo many times. I’m not going to tell you who to like and dislike but I’ll never understand not having live for Lynch.

My belief was that because of the distractions and diversions.

If Lynch got in to the endzone most likely he would be the MVP and then there would be a speech from the MVP where he would just say Im just here so that I don't get fine.

That's why they wanted Russ to win the MVP. If Lynch was more humbled and stop causing the diversions, I think they would had been fine with Lynch to run the ball.

Yes he did but you don't be a baby in the final game. The Superbowl was the one that mattered.

Wow this is a horrible take. lunch should have ran the ball so we could win. Nobody should be calling plays to get an individual award with the game on the line. Craziness.

K9 was a powerhouse tonight, patient letting holes open, hitting the edge fast, and refusing to stop with one tackler standing him up. He was playing for Charbs tonight, too. Unselfish to the last.

I’d offer him a 3 year $30 million with escalators to $12 mil APY.

That places him solidly in the second tier of guys like Pollard, Robinson, Harris (accounting for increases in the cap)

I don’t think he earned top tier McCaffery/Barkely money.

He might get more than that. RBs are getting more and more valued around the league.

I do hope we re-sign him. Would love to have the Charbs/K9 1-2 punch back. Charbs might make it back next season, probably late. How about they reverse roles next year in the playoffs? :)

Can we please put the Walker dances too much, and Charbs is the better back talk to rest. Charbs is a great, solid complementary back, but walker is a difference maker, and a superstar in the right system.

As soon as K9 stops dancing. This was a good post-season for that, hopefully he doesn’t regress, unless he is playing for someone else.

I think K9 upped his game a bit lately. Early in the season he did have a tendency to bounce outside too much, often getting caught in the flat for loss or short gain.

Yesterday, you could see him pause at the line and watch for the blocking to develop and then squirt through the gaps for good gains. It happened several times. He got several 1st downs that way, running between the takcles.

I'm not much into individual awards, especially for football. They're hugely slanted towards the offensive skill positions. Never have I seen a big ugly offensive lineman get awarded an MVP. More so than other sports, football is a team sport where the contributions of a single individual are not as big of a percentage of the pie as it is in baseball and basketball.

I honestly didn't see who got the MVP until this morning. I was at a Super Bowl party and we were having such good time high fiving, celebrating, drinking, taking pictures (see attached, I'm the old man with gray hair in the back row on the right) that I didn't see any of the post-game stuff. I honestly wondered who they could have awarded it to as it didn't seem to me that any one individual stood out, and when I heard that it was K9, I thought it made sense.

In addition to offensive linemen, they never award an MVP award to a kicker, either. Jason Myers set SB records both for kicking 5 FG's and for 19 points scored by a kicker while not missing on a single attempt. Michael Dickson nailed a punt at the 4-yard line in the 4th quarter when it counted the most. And those are just a few deserving performances that I can think of off the top of my head.

K9 had 77 rushing yards after contact yesterday. Here's the list of guys that had more rushing yards after contact than K9 in a Super Bowl.

1. John Riggins

That's it. That's the entire list.

Also, I've seen K9 in several interviews since the game yesterday. He's an incredibly humble, thoughtful, respectful, well spoken, and soft spoken guy. Just seems like genuinely a really good young man.
