I won’t call you stupid like you stated but I certainly question your observable confidence. K9 is leaps and bounds, literally, better than Charbs. Charbs is a singles hitter. K9 is a home run threat on almost any carry.
Some of you have major PTSD when it comes to K9. Your PTSD is Procise Traumatic Stress Disorder.
In K9’s three year career he has missed 9 games out of a possible 48. He has been available for approximately 82% of games since he was drafted. I believe a lot of this “injury prone” nonsense comes from him missing the first couple games of his rookie season because of hernia surgery. A hernia is not a football injury and can happen to anyone at almost any time.
I don't think anyone disagrees that K9 is the more talented player, but during the second half of last season, the running game was more efficient with Charbs as the starter.
I think a power back like Charbs fit Grubb's/Huff's offense better than K9, but this season the offense will fit K9 more, and I'm optimistic K9 will have his best season. (Which will make the decision on an extension tough)
It remains to be seen how well Charbs can play in a zone scheme, but if he proves that the second half of last season wasn't just a flash in the pan, then Seattle has one of the best RB rooms in the league, a good problem to have.
It's certainly possible that BOTH backs are good, and complement the offense in different styles, so this whole bickering I've seen during this off-season over who's better has been unnecessary.
