I think we finally have a crazy deep RB room so while I'm not worried about K9 I'm confident if he went down the offense would be fine with the next 3 guys. Even the rookie they got this year looks super promising.

I'm not sure it is...I love K9 and have his jersey but dude is always dealing with something. It's definitely going to be a factor when it comes time for hm to get a new deal. Not a great sign that he is dealing with an ankle already, even if it is minor.
When you're training a thoroughbred for a match race, you have to expect there will be minor injuries along the way. K9's not a draft horse.

Call me stupid, but I felt more confident about the offense last season with Charbs in the backfield over Walker.

K9 would try to bounce it out way too often and take unnecessary losses. When he did hit the hole, he rarely had the strength to move the pile.

K9 1 v 1 in the open field, I’ll take K9 every time. But if it’s 3rd and 1, I hope he’s on the sideline.

Walker’s durability is unfortunately a huge concern with him.

I'd agree with that....

I'm sure it's a minor thing and coaches are sitting him because there is no reason to aggrivate it.

But...dude is getting injured at non-contact practice and drills in shorts. Not a good look.

He probably stubbed his toe.

Walker is better suited for Kubiak's scheme

Nah, we somehow live in a world where Charbs is the next Derrick Henry because he had a few good games :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I won’t call you stupid like you stated but I certainly question your observable confidence. K9 is leaps and bounds, literally, better than Charbs. Charbs is a singles hitter. K9 is a home run threat on almost any carry.

Some of you have major PTSD when it comes to K9. Your PTSD is Procise Traumatic Stress Disorder.

In K9’s three year career he has missed 9 games out of a possible 48. He has been available for approximately 82% of games since he was drafted. I believe a lot of this “injury prone” nonsense comes from him missing the first couple games of his rookie season because of hernia surgery. A hernia is not a football injury and can happen to anyone at almost any time.

I don't think anyone disagrees that K9 is the more talented player, but during the second half of last season, the running game was more efficient with Charbs as the starter.

I think a power back like Charbs fit Grubb's/Huff's offense better than K9, but this season the offense will fit K9 more, and I'm optimistic K9 will have his best season. (Which will make the decision on an extension tough)

It remains to be seen how well Charbs can play in a zone scheme, but if he proves that the second half of last season wasn't just a flash in the pan, then Seattle has one of the best RB rooms in the league, a good problem to have.

It's certainly possible that BOTH backs are good, and complement the offense in different styles, so this whole bickering I've seen during this off-season over who's better has been unnecessary.

Coming from someone who watched this style of offense for 5ish years as a Texans fan, please know that K9 will be fine.

A tweaked ankle could be from anything. Maybe he tried different cleats. Maybe his feet got tangled up in practice. Maybe his foot slipped a bit and he over extended. We don't know. All the Doomsayers are doing is casting doubt on a guy who has worked his tail off to get where he is. I'm not worried about a June "ankle". If it's a lingering issue come August, then I'll worry. But our stable of RBs will be epic in this offense. Y'all should go watch some Arian Foster Tape. That guy was UDFA and he lit people up!

“Few good games” yet still matched the stats in less playtime than the oft inured Walker.. dude stop trying to minimize what Charbs has done. what did he do to you? lol

But as you say, Walker is the whipping boy this year. So I ask you if he is, and you run to white knight and defend him every time.. does that make you this yrs .net John63? Because you defend him as hard he defended Russell.
