Did some Seahawk doctor leak last season that MacIntosh was cleared to play at any point during the season?
Week 9 and up he was good to go.
Pete is weird with rookies and players who are or were injured.

Link?

And not to cast aspersions, as I really like MacIntosh and was excited we drafted him, but he needs A LOT of improvement in pass pro to be able to see the field consistently and not get our QB injured.

so far what ive found https://www.foxsports.com/nfl/kenny-mcintosh-player on the left if you scroll down it looks like October or November he was cleared to play and had full practices. Pete def imo used the IR and what not to hide players, as it seemed most those injuries were "minor" in comparison but just enough to get them on the IR or some injury list/report. Then throw in Pete's loyalty to other players, ie Dallas then it makes sense. The pass blocking thankfully is something that can be taught or coached. And this preseason, they have plenty of tape on him now to help coach him. He didn't even play in the preseason games last yr.

Been waiting a while to see this kid do his thing. This is against the 2's and 3's in preseason, but it is certainly promising. He's earned his spot on the 53 for sure.

Happy to finally see this player actually play. He was very good at Georgia and could just prove himself to be very good here. I was very excited to have the team pick him last year.

I find it hard to believe that he's as bad at pass blocking as some some suggest. He is clearly a talented RB. For the team to have this battle between him and Holani for the #3 and # 4 spots is a very good thing.

Good points . I think a lot of times ,us fans grab data , sound bites and out imaginations run wild. If I had to guess , I think they find a way to keep both those RBs
