...Schneider and Carroll change the question.
So, what questions do I have coming out of these cuts?
1. How many of our LBs are true hybrid players that can play at LEO?
This is an important question because we really culled the D-Line. I know that some people here have talked about Bennett moving outside to LEO, but he seems to be more needed on the inside, as we are really short on DTs. Add to this that we have eight LBs, and when we give more 4-3 style looks, there have to be enough of these guys that can play at the 9-tech. Schofield is one that I think can play there, but who else will we place there.
2. So, how much 3-4 ARE we going to play?
The other piece to the puzzle is that maybe we are going to show a whole lot of 3-4. Do we have the pass-rushers at LB to make this work? What does everyone think?
3. How are we going to get all these backs integrated into the offense?
I know they all won't be active most weeks, but still, we have Lynch, Turbo, Michael, Ware, and Coleman. One might go away once Harvin comes back, but until then, what role will each of these guys play?
This team is never boring, that's for sure.
