Just survive the 2nd Quarter

Interesting article on FieldGulls talking about the struggles the Seahawks have had in the 2nd Quarter under Carroll.

I'm going to start breathing easier every week if they can survive without a 2nd Quarter meltdown.

But back to the main point - The 2nd quarter has been the bane of Seahawks football in the Carroll Era. I cant explain it, but it just is. And this has spanned 3 different starting QBs, and the transition from a terrible defense to one of the best in the NFL. The players have changed, but the problem persists.

Yeah it seems we don't really wake up til halftime. I would like to see solid execution right off the bat for a change. Some points just before half in a 2 minute offense would be nice too! I think we need to try a hurry up offense a little to be honest.
