I hope... he saved himself 9k (plus at least another 1k for hotel stay) and took his family somewhere were cool...

I wanted to get SB tickets, but the wife said no, as the USD to CAD exchange made things ten times worse in price....so I got Huskies season tickets instead. Saturday/Sunday football weekends now.

I get the impression that when the Seahawks offer tickets to season ticket holders, they aren't at face value - worst seats were supposedly $900 face value. Digging around, it looks like the Patriots and Seahawks each got around 17% of the tickets. In any case, we got treated right for Lumen Field playoff tickets.

For most of it I did so considering going. Had airline ticket and have family I could stay with

Didn't pull the trigger, but stubhub has been down in the low $3k numbers. Probably would not have spent less than $4k myself based on where the seats were

Definitely going next year and will now plan to buy just days before
