I have never seen anything like that happen before on a road game. the only thing close would be when teams like the redsox come to town and it kinda takes over safeco. but this was 10x that. amazing.

As i said in another thread i would be pissed if i was Arizona's players and fans. we would be livid if that happened at the clink with another teams fans.

Iirc, it did happen in the Kingdome once, back when the Packers were media darlings. Sickening.

One thing I couldn't believe it how loud it was on the offensive side for the Cards. That definately came through on the TV.

Yeah that was crazy. I've been to 6 straight Hawks games here in the desert, and we normally represent, but last night was a whole different animal. The clink effect on the Cards first drive was kind of surprising, but super cool. Throughout the night, you could feel the air just let out of the Cardinals faithful as we drowned them out in their own stadium. We were just looking around in awe after the game. THAT was fun. The Sea-Hawks chant at the end was unbelievable. So proud to be a part of it. Go Hawks!

My wife and I thought, at first, that the Arizona fans were stupid and were cheering while their team had the ball. Then, we realized that it was Seahawks fans.

Too funny! ;-)

They were too like morons. I'm not taking amy credit away. You all that made it were amazing. The post game was ridiculously awesome. Just they did pan to the crowd while on offense right around the same time they mentioned the crowd being quiet for their team and there's some morron standing, clapping and yelling while Cards are on offense.

We have some of the most knowledgeable fan bases there is. Herbstreit made an unsolicited statement to that sffect after game day was here.

And the NFL NW post game show was absolutely PACKED with 12's like no other Thursday night game home or away. There must have been 2-300 Seahawks fans hootin and hollerin!

So awesome to watch here from home. :thfight7:

I didn't hear of a semi accurate count but I would guess over double your guess.

Hey, I was curious... How did all the Seahawks fans get organized to assemble behind the post game show? I'm sure they didn't all get the memo as there probably would have been 3 times as many Hawks fans there. I was just scratching my head as to how they all knew to go assemble over there...

When the Steelers came to town I believe in 2003 it was almost a 50-50 split.

Probably because they watch TNF and know that they do a post game show on the field.

Because the set was condensed on the side, it was on the visitor's sideline and that's where most Hawks fans were seated already.

We were at the game flying our 12th man flag Man we were proud of our fellow 12s. And that Seahawks crowd chant. Wow. Goosebumps is right.

Some have mentioned 300-500 but I've been estimating fan numbers in bleachers for many years and I'd wager there were nearer a thousand in that group at its peak.

The NFL guys were really stunned. thought it was neat to hear them say that was the largest crowd they had ever had for that show and it was the visiting team.

And all during the interview you could clearly hear the crowd yelling Russell Wilson, Russell Willson, over and over. You folks were really great.

I'm also glad to see the NFL now embracing crowds and their noise after so many years of trying to quell it. Even 5 years ago if fans gathered like that after the game they would have had security out there telling them to either be quiet or get tossed. Looks like the Seahawks have another thing started. What do you bet next weeks thursday night winner will be trying to out do them?

Great job boys and girls we are so proud of you.......
