If Russell can get out of this unscathed I will be thankful.

Pollard has a history of putting people on crutches or wheelchairs, at least for a few weeks.

Russell running around back there is going to be terrifying for me, but I don't see how we can win without that.

Just a week we need to get in, get a win in against a really physical defense and then get back to the rest of our schedule.

The Titans are much better than they appear.

Bah humbug! We will run the ball down their throats! There is no better place to get your run game hitting on all cylinders than the Clink! I expect to see heavy doses of Marshawn and Christine. No better time out place to expose young Michael to the vagaries of the NFL than at home.

I think ya'll know me as a realistic fan. But I gotta say, I think this is gonna be a creamation. I don't care that people are saying this or that about the Titans. The 12th is gonna make life miserable for those guys, and I'm looking for a double-digit beatdown. I'd say the same thing if they had Locker 100% healthy. Ain't gonna happen. I don't know what our offense is gonna do with all the injuries and whatnot, but the D is gonna be in search and destroy mode. Should be fun to watch! Can't wait!

It's interesting how the NFL plays out when you look at expectations coming into the season. The AFC was looking to be a serious cupcake. The NFC West being touted as the toughest division in Football. The media folks need something to fill in the dead time but they really just end up hyping things to unreal levels.

5 weeks in, the Seahawks are trying to work in a new DC, DL coach and numerous players. The defense seems legit and should hold up for the season. It is the turnover in the backfield and disruption in the OL and TE positions that hasn't allowed the expectations to take hold with the offense.

Before the season I considered this a win because I didn't think Jake or the Titans running game would hold up. I may not be as confident now, but it is because the Titans are playing a sound style of play and the Seahawks offense still seems un-even. I don't take the Titans for granted and I already mentioned that IMHO, the 13.5 pts spread I was hearing earlier in the week sounds too high.

17 hrs to go.

Huh?! The OL issues are just a 'dispruption?' We still have arguably the weakest blindside protection in the league with Okung being out.

I don't see a double-digit win unless they gift us some ints. They have an excellent D. Take the blinders off.

I think the Seahawks are so pissed that they lost last week to a team they could have beaten easily if they could have scored a damned TD.

I look at them to also be pissed they fell from first in the rankings to 5th.

And I DO agree its a good wake up call. They have to know the are really better than the Colts and not just a little bit, so they will come out firing on all cylinders tomorrow, early and often.

:les:

I hope that is the case, but when a team plays angry, it almost makes them commit mistakes ore penalties. I hope we will overcome all of that, but being angry necessarily does not equate to something great happening. From what I have been reading, Petes teams after a loss always does not come firing in all cylinders, in most cases, they are just good enough. What it is, in a loss, sometimes there is this thing called getting over coached. Hope our young team is mature enough by now not to be impacted. I am sure RW's 1 and 0 every week will keep the team focused.

I don't own any "Blinders". If I think we're gonna lose, I'll say so. I'm saying we're gonna kick the shit out of 'em in our house. And a double-digit beatdown is most likely coming. Vegas backs me up. If I'm wrong come 4 pm tomorrow, call me out in this thread, but if I thought we'd be in some trouble this Sunday, I'd say it. If we're just gonna start losing to middle-of-the-road teams lacking their starting QB at the CLink, then we may as well just pack up and go home. GO HAWKS!

Don't worry, they're feisty but WELL past their bed times.

The point spread is 14, I'm betting that we don't quite cover the spread, something like 23-10.

Well to be fair the entire thread was posted to tell us to curb or expectations for Sunday's game.

As a life-long Seattle sports fan, my expectations are always "curbed." Thanks to a good Seahawks team recently, I'm quite-often pleasantly surprised.
