The Titans aint no joke, kids. That defense will match the Seahawks intensity and physicality. Gregg Williams is one HELL of a DC.

They took a good Texans team to the limit. But...Fitzgerald.

I know, I know. That's the saving grace here.

I like that the Seahawks are playing the Titans this week. It's winnable, but it has to be earned. The Seahawks offense will have to grind, scratch and claw.

And correction, the Titans HAD the Texans. They had it. Locker played outstanding. Pollard laid out fools. They're DB's are equal to Seattle's (at least in play, this year).

Derp. Fitzpatrick. They wish they had Fitzgerald.

That D is good. It's going to be another long day for Russell.

Since I'm all but humble, I wont remind people I've been saying "keep an eye on the Titan's", since the offseason.

This game scares me a bit. Cant help it. It COULD be the Vikings game, where they came in and took out Hass and dominated from start to finish. Or, Pete's home losses to the Bengals or Redskins. Very comparable.

I hope the Seahawks saying "we cant wait to play this week" aren't just paying lip service.

A lot of people think that loss was "good for the team", to "bring them back to earth".

Bullshit.

Each week the other team is trying to do to you what you want to do to them. Our schedule is filled with teams that have good defenses. A good team bounces back from a lackluster game, but this is a physical defense we will be playing yet again and we have a game a mere 3 days after the Monday recovery day.

It could be a great week, or not so much.

But a much longer day for Fitzsimmons.

Yeah the titans are very physical on defense, they are gonna be a lot of tougher to beat than most on here think.

At least we're at home. Not to throw in any complacency, because I like the tone of the thread, but the CLink is worth a TD at least. ;)

No such thing as an easy victory, well unless you are playing the Jags

If worrying helped win games, I would have helped us to 10 Lombardies.

If overconfidence meant we lose, I would have gotten us the first pick in the draft numerous times.

If showing your tally whacker to your Grandmas bridge club meant we tie games, we would have 4 ties in the last 2 years.

I think the Seahawks are so pissed that they lost last week to a team they could have beaten easily if they could have scored a damned TD.

I look at them to also be pissed they fell from first in the rankings to 5th.

And I DO agree its a good wake up call. They have to know the are really better than the Colts and not just a little bit, so they will come out firing on all cylinders tomorrow, early and often.

TN is #5 in the NFL in sacks, #3 in third down defense, and they have a corner (Verner) who some are saying is playing better than Sherman and Revis. No picnic. They're rolling with Fitzpatrick, but the dude is still a league-average QB on most days. Good enough to be carried by his D.

Any given Sunday indeed, but the Titans O is going to have all they can handle and then some vs. the Seahawks D in their house. We'll be happy just to make it a game with the Harvard grad under center.
