Great catch and I don't want to take anything away from JSN, but with the types of gloves receivers wear nowadays, those one-handed catches are commonplace like never before.

Years ago, I remember seeing the great Kenny Easley being interviewed on the topic of Steve Largent, and he was talking about the catch Odell Beckham made with one hand behind his head, and Easley said, and I'm paraphrasing: "If Largent played with the gloves they have today, he would have caught that (Beckham's behind the held catch) with one finger"

A bit of an exaggeration, but you get the point.

The long ball was impressive tbh as well.. especially when the officials don’t throw the flag on a defenseless receiver as the rams player clearly launched himself helmet first at JSN. My heart sank for a split second. (It sank when Sam Darnold was picked up and slammed into the ground)
When did THAT happen?

JSN made that one hander look easy. He palmed the ball for possession. I was afraid they wouldn't accept that until he pulled it in ( which he did after he was out of bounds) but they never blinked about ruling it a completion.
I was afraid of that, too. But the ball didn't move at all on his hand, so he had complete control of it.

I don't remember if I've ever *quite* seen a catch like that. It was not only a great catch, but very unusual.

The Darnold slam was on a sack. Second sack I think. That Ram could easily have been flagged. At least as easy as throwing one at woolen.

Yeah it was the sack from Kinchens who then did a stupid dance in Sam's face that *SOMEHOW* wasn't taunting.

Just watch Darnold on that pass and it makes the whole play 10x better. Darnold and JSN are just the perfect matching and complement each other’s skill set so well. Don’t want to lose Kubiak but at least this insane synergy and trust will stay and these guys will continue to grow even more as one entity for the next OC.
