Someone got crappy when I proclaimed he was already better than Jermaine Kearse. Believed it then and still do. JSN was one of the most technically gifted WR’s to go in years…probably since Kupp.

UPDATE: It was Tate, not Kearse (Tks Jerhawk for bumping the thread). Either way…I stand by the point.

When I heard he had 300 plus yards receiving in the Rose Bowl I was like wow. I wasn't sure why we needed him though. Receiver wasn't a perceived problem at the time. Glad we have him. I would say with Horton, Kupp, and JSN this room is rebuilt. And the TEs. All good. It's also cost effective

He's having an All-Pro year so far. He's got great hands, great route runner, fast enough top end speed. But what really gets me about him are his combination of WR instincts and foot/body work. He almost effortlessly gets coverage to bite on his moves and get open. Half the time he's an easy target for Darnold. And it's all seemingly within the structure of the offense. Really remarkable. On top of it all, you rarely ever see him take a real lick. He knows how to avoid taking shots without sacrificing yardage. I love the guy.

HE's always been a great route runner, I just don't think the Seahawks of the past couple of years took advantage of it...If they had, perhaps DK would have been that much more of a threat.
