Agreed, but he can't. I don't think you can retrain your natural instinct at his age/stage. That has to be done by late teens at the latest
Oh, I agree, I don't expect him to ever start doing it consistently. It's just frustrating is all because he could be a guy that gets talked about with the likes of Moss, Owens, etc. if he had that one extra piece to his game.

Instead he's just really, really good when he could be great.

It used to be a good 3 years of playing before WR really took off. This trend over the last 5-10 years of players coming in at WR and becoming dominant in the first year or two is pretty new. I'd say JSN is right on track for my liking.

SO.. if he's all that, why haven't the Hawks utilized him better, even today, I thought he wasn't used as well as he should have...

WHich brings me to a new idea, How well do the Hawks understand their players abilities and potential? I'm watching the Chargers game and Ford is rocking at interior line play and all of a sudden Disley is doing what he did at UW.. catching passes, ironically, the TV people are saying while as a Seahawk he was a blocking tackle.. just very frustrating to see former Seahawks play well with other teams.
Well, he had some huge passing stats with us. His issue hear was injuries.

I agree. He would win many of those jump balls if he used his hands rather than positioning to cradle the ball.

I have never understood the concern about JSN. He's just getting his chance now, and his growth as a player has been incredible. He's finding those open spaces, esp. on 3rd down. Exactly like Tyler has done most of his career. And he's clearly a very humble kid.

JSN had another great game, 100 yards, and caught 10 out of 11 passes threw his way. JSN is finally ready for prime time.
Just rewatched the highlights from yesterday's game.

JSN is FINALLY coming along. He's getting there!

He is performing admirably.

He benefits a lot from playing alongside Lockett and Metcalf, who take the defensive attention away from him.

Take either one out of the equation, and he won’t be as ignored.

While we have them both, JSN should be targeted more.

It’s nice having a three headed receiving monster. Wish we had Dissly still here. I think Grubb would know how to use him, and our passing game would be unstoppable.
