Polanco has been signed to a one-year $7.75 million deal. I'm not unhappy with that. The guy is only 30 years old, and if last year was an aberation due to his knee injury, he's most likely the best option remaining out there. And we're saving money since we declined the $12 million club option for 2025.

"Jorge Polanco, who was supposed to be terrific last year but was subpar instead. He performed so poorly that the Mariners did not pick up his player option only to somehow decide he was worth bringing back three months later mainly because he was available at The Dollar Store, where the Mariners do 99 percent of their shopping."

Yeah. That about sums it up. He sucks and is injured a lot, but he's cheap so who cares.
