Jets second-year QB Jordan Travis retiring after consultation with medical experts

A sobering reminder that playing careers don't last very long for a lot of guys. Once it was decided that Seattle wasn't gonna get one of the top QB's last year, he was the guy I wanted to see them get if they were gonna get a QB at all.

His leg injury at FSU was just too damaging, sucks that one play can ruin someone's dream.

Now im curious how long they have to be in the league to get benefits or retirement
Don't even know who he is but it's life changing when what you wanted to do all your life is taken away by injury
Hope he rebounds or has a 2nd career option
