Hey, only 6 of the 16 games are played in your own division, and if Arians is smart enough to have a quick passing offense with Palmer, they could have had success against the Niners. What, are you going to tell me you expect their secondary to be even average this year?

So, the two best players (IMO) that the Cardinals drafted this year... One probably won't play a down for them this season and the other won't play a down for them ever. They were my two reasons for optimism out of that AZ draft class.

On the plus side, did Arians and Keim really want to win games this year in the first place? They need a young franchise QB soooo badly. If Palmer goes down from injury before logging a win, the 2008 Lions had better prepare for some company.

I'm not sure what the Cardinals were ever sleepers of anyway. In a best case scenario, the Rams might have to watch their backs a little to avoid 4th place, but that's about it. The Cardinals are the Houston Astros of our division.
