he was born and raised in Wisconsin and has a long professional history with the team. Honestly, who wouldn't want to run the team they grew up rooting for? Plus, Green Bay is generally known as a good organization and arguably the league's best branded franchise.
That part I didn't know -- or if I did, I forgot. The other stuff is superfluous IMO, relatively speaking, for most of the reasons you mentioned below. The Seahawks are generally known as a good organization now, and the brand is far more well known and relevant, and Schneider played a huge role in that.

We have the best owner in the league IMO, some of the best practice facilities in the league, one of the best stadiums in the league, and a great working relationship with one of the better coaches in the league. I don't think he's going to find that combination anywhere else.
And that's just the football stuff. I think one of the biggest reasons he's likely going to stay with the Seahawks is the level of health care and special-needs care available in the area.
