I like Schmitz, but his ceiling isn't that of your usual top centers in their given class. High floor pick. Agree that late second would be where I'd start considering him.

maybe him or wypler at #pick 52 or later. actually i hope we address C in free agency so we can focus on QB/front 7 with our first 4 picks. one thing we can all agree on, we need an upgrade over blythe.

Yeah looking more into some of his stuff he does come across like sort of a salesman.

Haven't seen him pumping anybody up as much as Schmitz though

wow that dude killed the combine. totally under my radar. he looks like a 3T that could play 3-4 DE. interesting

Probably the way to go given how much cheaper it is to pay top Centers than pass rushers

Not sure why Nagy's pimping JMS with a video of a projected 6th round DE driving him into a 7-step drop. That doesn't make me think, "This guy will end AD and Armstead's reign of terror."

Luke Wypler, Joe Tippmann, and John Michael Schmitz should all be picked at the end of the second or beginning of the third round. Steve Avila also has played center. At least one of these should be available at pick 51. All would be an upgrade at center for the Hawks.

Yeah the 2nd round, in this draft, is the sweet spot to draft a OC.

I had been thinking Wypler for C, saw Joe Tippmann’s name being mentioned so did some research I think I have changed my mind looks to be a good fit for Seahawks zone blocking scheme even though he is tall for the position it doesn’t seem to be much of a problem.

Exactly. Nagy is great but make sure you realize that his #1 goal is to advertise for the Senior Bowl. I'm sure he does like JMS but don't read too much more into it than that. If Tippmann was the senior and JMS was the junior then you'd likely be seeing a tweet about Tippmann.
