Marvin how bout the beat a fellow player with a beer bottle that did disappear? The weapons charges that were tabled until pressured? I am pretty sure those disappeared because of the status of who they were. I wont say it doesn't happen with many professional athletes but you are cherry picking the ones that were charged.

Did I add any commentary to her words outside of. "What would you expect her to say?". The only people interpreting information one way or the other are "hawk fans taking pot shots. That's OK. I know the score.

Don't sit there and act like being unreasonable tho on the same page where people are spinning ludicrous conspiracy theories and and essentially convicted Ray with almost no information. Moreover, you set up a nice little self fulfilling prophesy where he CANT be innocent because no matter happens you've already decided the DA is corrupt so any resolution that doesn't show him as a wife beater is a corrupt DA.

3 wobblers reduced for what? Admitting guilt? Think about that Marvin, the guy pleads no contest, is found guilty of 3 felonies and 2 misdemeanor crimes, but has all 3 felonies reduced. So.. 5 convictions, misdemeanor or not makes for 12 days of work release.

Goodell punished Smith far more than the court would touch. No "deal" is made as the DA made very clear, so the judge makes it as convenient as possible. Smith didn't give the court anything but a no contest plea. He had nothing to bargain with in a slap shot case.

That whole thing stinks of extremely favorable sentencing.

And just does how a guy not get charged for using a beer bottle on another's head? You call it weak, but that is pretty jacked up. Cully is in the system, based on previous instances the judge should be giving Cully a reward for not killing anyone.

Then we could find out why statements stiches and Drs. reports do not qualify as evidence. If your not a 9er it is enough to put your behind away for assault at the least.

Dunno what happened. I do know that the guy who got hit told Ahmed it could "go away" if he have him money. I do know that he ultimately didn't press charges and DIDNT get any money.

I don't know all of the facts so I'm not going to fill in the blanks in order to feel morally superior and simply assume a DA would risk his career and reputation simply to help a football player.

If I were to suggest that happening in Seattle you'd think I was looney tunes.

I put those kinds of ludicrous conspiracy theories right up there with people who think the refs are paid or are trying to screw one team over another.

I just think more info should have came out on it. I know if I hit a co worker especially with a weapon and people sign statements saying I did it the following will happen
1. I am no longer employed
2. I am going to be held criminally liable.
3. You can bet I am not going to be welcome back to the next company function while they let a less valuable employee go that I assaulted.

Honestly I don't have the first clue what happened. I heard a rumor that Ahmed hit him because he threw his keys in a bush. I've heard he was essentially extorting Ahmed. I got no idea. Bottom line he didn't press charges. This isn't domestic abuse, so police really can't do much if the victim doesn't press charges.
