I was waiting for this to be brought up. Personally, I feel it's low to hit a woman as it would be to hit a little weak man. Legally, I think it should be the same to hit a woman as it is to hit a man. Females want equality....there equality.

1) You could cover up and NOT hit a woman because as Men that's what we're expected to do. But now you have some crazy biatch all over you disrespecting you and making you look like a little punk until HOPEFULLY someone pulls her off you.
2) You could punch her back, but now you're a little bitch for being a man who hit a woman.

The guy WAS removing himself from the situation, she ran at him throwing punches. So in this case...stand there, block all the hits and hope someone gets this crazy girl off of you?

I don't care who you are, if someone stands there for 30 seconds throwing punches, you're gonna receive some damage. Not to mention if she starts clawing at you, pulling your hair etc. I'm pretty sure it's that much harder to keep your cool. My wife when she wants to get a rise out of me, digs fingernails in my skin, pinches and etc. and she's just being playful and it pisses me the hell off, I couldn't imagine if she was actually trying to hurt me.


Now I'm not saying hit the chick, but if you're actually in this situation, it would be very difficult to keep as cool as you claim. Especially considering most people don't even end up in these type of situations in the first place unless you're already angry/drunk, and by that time most of your good judgement is gone.

If you are bigger or stronger than the other person and are not under constant assault, you can handle the situation without resorting to returning violence. I'm not saying it's an excuse, but I also think it's unreasonable to expect GOOD judgement on people who are obviously not in that frame of mind. It's the same reason why there is temporary insanity for those who commit heinous crimes. You're still going to go to jail, but probably not as long as that guy who pre-meditated the same type of crime. By that same notion, yeah it's not right to hit a woman as a man (or really to hit anyone), but some guy already in a fight defending himself vs flat out running at a girl and beating her down for making him the wrong sandwich would be two different things.

While PERSONAL opinion may be not to hit a women what he did was self-defense. She came at him swinging and he hit her back. That video works against her and not him.

Now that is just to that specific situation and doesn't say anything about what happened before.
