Special teams have been huge this year. They have come through when we needed them most. What are the chances we lose Jay in the offseason? We often hear about offensive and defensive coordinators moving on to take head coaching jobs, but I wonder what the path is like for a special teams coach.

Could he take a primary coordinator role somewhere? He certainly isn’t in the convo for a head coaching spot.

Did he win a ring before his dad? I think he also got one in Baltimore as a quality control coach with his uncle.

Sorry...posted some about this in Dickson thread... performances by Myers, Dickson, Shaheed....coverage, blocking...very high level this season. He not only deserves a shot at something bigger, it'd be good to keep him in house.

Yes. And he’s the only one of the three Harbaugh’s with both a NCAA Natty Ring and a Lombardi

I think John went straight from special teams to head coach. Jay may follow in those footsteps.

My Ravens fan friend got even madder when he saw there was a Harbaugh on our ring-winning staff.
