Looking forward to both of those kids, though Bobo is more on a bubble than JSN is. Hopefully, Grubb can get both of these guys meaningful touches.

Bobo reminds me of "JJ", Joe Jurevicius. A big, strong receiver with good hands and who is an excellent blocker. Bobo is the type of blocker that Metcalf should be.
It's been a while so I looked up Jurevicius's stats. Looks like his best year was in Seattle. Why in the heck did he move on to Cleveland?

JoeJer's decision was rewarded with a really bad staph infection. But he won a case over it, at least. Browns gonna Browns.

Interesting. I had never heard about that. Thanks for posting it.

On locked on Seahawks, he said people inside the organization make it sound like Bobo might have a tough time making the team. I guess they need to see what he can do in pads. I doubt he is the most impressive in shorts

Hopefully he looks better in shorts than Bono

Would be crazy if they cut Bobo and kept that midget Eskridge who is never available to play.

Bobo showed up in pre-season last year. I don't think he was expected to get a roster spot before those games. My impression is that he shows up in big situations when given a chance. (Maybe he shows up all the time and I only see it in big situations, who knows). As long as he's given a shot, I think he'll impress and just keep getting better. It seems like he's an MMac kind of guy but he probably can't show that until pads and games are a factor.

He's exactly the opposite of Eskridge, right? One looks really impressive in sprints and non-contact drills. The other looks like just-a-guy in those situations, or maybe just-a-slow-guy. Remember he ran a 5 sec 40 at the Combine. But, then there's a contested catch, contact, downfield block, playing hurt... and the other guy shows up. ...just my opinion. I think MMac will have a really hard time cutting Bobo. I think speed in the 40 was more valued by Pete and he hoped it would translate to game speed and sometimes it did. If Bobo's cut, he'll end up on another team and become a star that embarrasses the Seahawks every time they play.
