Bobo is the perfect example of a JAG at the top of his game.

Largent was slow. Small. Nothing stood out about him.

Oh, besides catching every single ball thrown to him and scoring touchdowns. There is that.

How would Seattle ever replace Bobo's production.

I'm not on the Bobo-Bandwagon, hope he can keep his 4-5-6 reciever spot this year. He has a cool name.

76% catch rate and some of those were exceptional. 200 yds and 2TD's ain't bad for a rookie #4/5 WR.

I want guys that add value, make plays and compliment the O. I think Bobo does that...but if they find someone better than you play them. If they find 2-3 guys that are better, then maybe he leaves...and I'm ok with that.

I think if Bobo is utilized properly, he will be a solid contributor. Not a #1/2, but valuable non-the-less.

Bobo showed up in pre-season last year. I don't think he was expected to get a roster spot before those games. My impression is that he shows up in big situations when given a chance. (Maybe he shows up all the time and I only see it in big situations, who knows). As long as he's given a shot, I think he'll impress and just keep getting better. It seems like he's an MMac kind of guy but he probably can't show that until pads and games are a factor.

He's exactly the opposite of Eskridge, right? One looks really impressive in sprints and non-contact drills. The other looks like just-a-guy in those situations, or maybe just-a-slow-guy. Remember he ran a 5 sec 40 at the Combine. But, then there's a contested catch, contact, downfield block, playing hurt... and the other guy shows up. ...just my opinion. I think MMac will have a really hard time cutting Bobo. I think speed in the 40 was more valued by Pete and he hoped it would translate to game speed and sometimes it did. If Bobo's cut, he'll end up on another team and become a star that embarrasses the Seahawks every time they play.
He could definitely do that.

On the other end of the spectrum. If Dee is cut, he will end up on another team, play one game and miss the season.

Bobo is the definition of a football player, not flashy, not a diva, not someone that stands out in a crowd, put him on a football field and things just happen, experts like to find the stats to identify guys like him, and Largent, and Jurvicious, but there isn't any, it's savvy, guts, work ethic, and will to succeed.

As Yogi Berra would say, 90% of the game is mental, and the other half is physical.

Largent's concentration is one of those unmeasurable attributes that set him apart from his peers. My favorite Largent story was when I saw an interview with Lester Hayes, the Raiders All Pro defensive back and notorious trash talker. He said that he lined up a few yards from Largent, calling him every name and insult he could think of to the point where he honestly wondered if Largent were deaf. That was, until Largent burned him for a 50-yard reception and after the tackle, Largent got up and looked at Hayes, laughing.

Largent used to say that when catching a pass, that he didn't just look at the football, that he concentrated on the leading point of the ball.

JoeJer's decision was rewarded with a really bad staph infection. But he won a case over it, at least. Browns gonna Browns.

Likewise he was robbed at gunpoint for 30 mins in front of his wife and kids. Mistake by the lake.

Last year, Bobo played 304 snaps on offense, which was 29% of the team's offensive snaps.

JSN played in 675 snaps, or 64% of the total.

I don't foresee those numbers changing drastically this year... but, if anything, Bobo's and Jaxon's snaps should increase slightly with the losses of Parkinson and Dissly.

I'm thinking we'll see fewer 2 TE sets as a result... and more 3 WR sets.
