Not saying this wouldn't have been a nail-biter had Kaep played all 16 games, but who's body of evidence is larger? Haven't read his reasoning yet, but I suppose he's favoring potential based upon physical tools? ...Or possibly the SB appearance with a very good team around him?

Why does what anybody even care what reporters rate QBs. There are a few rated higher than map and Wilson but guess how many went further. Um um um 1. That's it so in the grand scheme what they say does not matter.

Both. He has a known bias for tall big armed quarterbacks and being on a solid team always helps a quarterback (goes for Wilson also).

Most guys love the QBs with over the top physical measurables.

Take Cam Newton for example. He'll have flashes of greatness throughout his career, but with his mental/emotional makeup it's really going to be a train wreck over time, but talking heads are still on his jock big time.

I typically don't care and I don't really care about this either. The thing that cinfuses me is that the flaws I see with RG3 (rated below Kaep) I see with Kaep only exaggerated. I'm no expert but that's just my humble opinion.

At first I read "Jews rate Kaep higher than Wilson."
Honestly, I don't care what Jews or Jaws think of Wilson. But that's just me. And Jews.

Crowd noise will drop Kaep soon enough. We have already seen it happen.

I can't wait for the Kaep ranking. Just watch a few games from the second half of last year. Wilson is at least a year ahead of Keap as far as NFL quarterbacking and game understanding goes. Frankly, Wilson is just more football smart. I would bet that by the end of his third year his football IQ is nearing Drew Brees status. Kaep beats Wilson in speed and height, other than that I'd challenge anyone to tell me what else Kaep has, and don't tell me potential. Russell Wilson has balled out in three different offenses in four years. Actually, what NFL QB has ever done that? I know that like everything else ESPN is run by the dollar and our market is smaller, but cmon man, it's really not even close.

What interests me is he's a retired NFL QB, not purely a mediot. Another head scratcher is where he puts Schaub. That's a classic example of good team propping up a mediocre QB, because he has absolutely no upside. No reason to think the difference between Kaep and Russ couldn't be paper-thin if they had both played an entire season.

Both Wilson and Kaep have good teams around them. Kaep made it to the superbowl, Wilson didn't. It sucks, but I can see how things worked out that way.

On Kaepernick, VS. Russell Wilson///Jaws? vs. Gruden?, who's the better QB prospect?----- I'll take Grudens analysis for $500 Alex.
CORRECT!

Exactly. Forget the fact they lost Goldston and Crabtree while we added Harvin just move along nothing to see here.

In the current NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE, you need EYE DISCIPLINE. Watch Kaepernick as he finds the OPEN HOLES in the offensive line. I tell ya, he's a great QB for the SAN FRANCISCO 49ers.

There's not much to talk about at this time of year in football land, so the media needs to find something...Also, don't think that they're oblivious to the fact that the most heated rivalry amongst fans as of now is SF/Sea. ESPN's blogsphere is riddled with this debate, as well as with fans of each team butting heads about everything SF/Sea. It's the most electrifying topic in the NFL at the moment (That isn't negative Hernandez fare), so why not capitalize on it? Stir the pot so to speak...

Go Hawks!
