It honestly wouldn’t surprise me if Milroe doesn’t make the team.

The only reason he may be assured a roster spot is because Kubiak brought over some gadget plays labeled “Taysom Hill.” Otherwise, I saw very few positive qualities from Milroe all pre season.

Perhaps I’m going too far, but I’d rather the team keep someone who is actually going to contribute, unlike Milroe who will only take a snap or two per game away from Darnold, ruining the rhythm and flow of the offense, while patiently attempting to grow and develop him. His ceiling appears more limited now than on draft day due to the fact that he seems to have not fixed his accuracy issues, ball security issues, and his speed is only above average for his position. The potential just isn’t there.

He’s supposed to be a dual threat guy, and while yes, he can move, he doesn’t have that flashy speed to separate himself.

Did you watch him play in college? He's a phenom as a runner. Like VERY good. That is a weapon. Releasing him would be beyond stupid. And he absolutely does have speed. I'm not trying to argue here, but in what world is Jalen Milroe not fast?

He definitely looked fast in college. His LSU tape was incredible. And he ran a 4.37 40.

However in these pre season games, his speed appears inconsistent at best. Backup linebackers were keeping pace with him. For someone with 4.37 speed, I’d expect him to gain separation from those guys.

Joe Burrow has small hands by NFL QB standards. I'll take his small hands along with the rest of him on the Hawks.
Small and effeminate - to go with his weird wardrobe?

Would also take him as our QB in a blink despite his odd outfits.

Nah, just don't agree he will be released, nor should he. He can be a weapon as a runner; you don't let that go.

Almost every play was UBER vanilla. Roll out right, roll out left - and I am sure he was coached to limit his running in pre-season unless it was wide open as well.
