Back to topic, I agree that Michael is going to be good, good. Spins or no, the kid is quick and runs determined. Fits perfectly. Now just avoid the injury bug and all is well.

True.

I love his burst. That's his best attribute.

His top end isn't really any faster than Turbin's, but he gets to it so much faster. In this scheme, it's huge once he gets how to read the holes and the cutbacks.

I'm tempering optimism since it was mostly against 2nd and 3rd string guys, but he does look damn good.

Just wait until he understands Cable's system and line....

What was up with the field? There were a lot of slips. Our equipment guys seem to miss the boat on getting the guys geared up right. Turbin is always a slip away from breaking off a big run. CMike is a good young player. Interesting what they do in the backfield. Good problem to have.

I don't know much about anything. All I know is that one handed catch and burst of speed was insane.

CM is much faster through the holes and has a great burst out of the turn than Turbin. He also showed very good hands or should I say hand at catching the ball. He is far more elusive than Turbin.

Yea I love turb and he's a great story but I think the debate isn't if he's gonna lose the #2 RB job to MC but when.
Agreed. Michael is like Lynch but with another gear. I like and see all three playing this year. It will be a nightmare for our opponents. I have never believed a college style "stable" of RB's works in the NFL but Pete is changing my mind.

He loves the spin move.

Too much in my opinion.

If he breaks that habit then, yes.

If you really think about that statement, it's not only ignernt, but more than likely racist.

Exactly.

You sir need to swallow acid laced with sweet syrup.

His pass blocking sucks. His pass catching looks promising. His burst is elite.

Along with Harvin, a guy that can take it the distance on any given play. Been awhile since Seattle has had more than one.

This guy needs touches in the regular season.

This aint no ordinary love....this is my adopt-a-rookie.

From what I heard from the announcers Chris-ten is our largest back at 221. Though I often think those numbers are combine and
of course out of whack.

I guess the thing about Turbin is that he looks like a nice #2 change-of-pace back. Michael, on the other hand, looks like a legit #1 back. I would hate to lose Lynch, but I do believe that Michael could be the bell-cow in Lynch's absence.

Personally, I don't think Turbin is going to ultimately turn out to be that great. I hope I am wrong but I think we've already seen his ceiling. I think Michaels is just beginning.

It works every time....I don't see it as a problem.

..works every time..
.. except when he spins into an oncoming LB.

Turbin did get blown up by Matthews, but he's still better in pass protection than Michael. You can see CM getting lost in trying to pick up blitzers. I think Michael will get there. He's certainly shown more promise than Turbin as an explosive runner, and I think he should get some PT in 2013. I'm just not sure he's ahead of Turbin in every facet of the game yet.

He does it without losing his speed as far as his spin move, if he could add the limp leg then cut he would be really unpredictable. He does his moves naturally also, if it's not broke ya don't fix it. You just hoppe his field vision will see a oncoming tackler from the angle he spins to, if not big collision and yes probably fumbles.

I'm with you on this. Turbin is a good player with above average talent, but it kind of feels like the things holding him back are never going away. With Michael, the problems that held him back (ball security, injuries) haven't yet been an issue, and in terms of pure running talent he's already better than Turbin will ever be, most likely.

Turbin is talented, but frustrating. Honestly, I think I'd keep Ware over Turbin at this point. I think Ware has some very nice upside and I don't see any nagging issues holding him back. He just needs time to learn our scheme and his preseason performances have been pretty good, too.
