On the field for the Hawks:

Clemons and Avril at DE
Bennett at DT
Irvin and Schofield at OLB/Spinner

WHO IS BLITZING!?!

I just hope we see a play or two with a lineup something like the above. I can't even imagine the terror opposing offensive coordinators are going to feel when Clemons, Irvin and Avril hit top form. What an awesome time to be a seahawks fan

And all of those guys (sans Irvin) can play the run, especially Clemons and Bennett. Which brings up a question, how improved will Bruce Irvin be this year against the run? You think Chris Clemons has been giving him tips on how a LEO defeats run blocks? :th2thumbs:

I live in KC but was listening to a replay of a Pete Presser from yesterday I think. In it he was saying that as good as the defense is playing they still aren't hitting on all cylinders scheme wise and still have work to do there. He was saying that around week 8 or 9 they should really start gelling. Obviously having Clem, Irvin, Browner, and Hill back and healthy for a few weeks by then as well will help too. Think about that as we head into the second half of the season and into the playoffs? Man, I can't wait!! Go Hawks!!!

Come on guys! Shouldn't we be following PC's "one game at a time" philosophy? :D

I predict a few flashes from Luck, but FTMP, he's going to learn some hard lessons.

Fantasy players might want to sit him for that game.

As long as the players follow his rules, I think we fans can indulge ourselves once in a while

Luck has been a burr in my blanket for years! This would make me very happy!

Hummmm...and here I thought that he came into the NFL as a Rookie in 2012 and the '12-'13. was his first year.

Pull Schofield and Irvin back into coverage and send a double corner blitz with Clem and Avril crashing inside the tackles. JK, of course... but it would be fun to see just once.
