Got the horses fed and all the stalls in both barns cleaned. Got the dogs fed and all the bird feeders filled. Ate some breakfast. Now just have to get the dishes done and I'll be ready to settle in.
Settling in for the game is a matter of preparing for explosive action. I get involved. I see the chance for a pick and go for it. I see an open receiver and try to direct Russ's attention to it. I try to take the hit and keep the Beast motating down the field. I get everything set up so I don't break anything.
It's GAMEDAY!
Go HAWKS!

Bird feeders. That's what I forgot.

We currently see Downey, Hairy and my favorite a Pileated Woodpecker stopping in daily.

My birdfeeders got attacked last night/thismorning by snow. I am gonna leave them alone. Btw, my feeders are planters and a modified hummingbird feeder. Got 1.5 inches of snow today and I see blue sky coming.

I have thrushes and sparrows....one orange faced one...or 3.

Nice! I live on the border of a woodland preserve/park. We share our space with resident humming birds which have stopped migrating much to the displeasure of the local branch of the Audubon Society. I'm told humming bird feeders are a bad thing because they are suppose to migrate. We recently have had the pleasure of visits by little bitty birds that swarm our hanging suet via what I would describe as a flash mob. They attack like winged Piranha. Very entertaining although I have yet to bother identifying them. It's an amazing world we share with our winged friends.

But today, I'm most looking forward to the upcoming fight between Eagles and Seahawks.

That's them. Their ferocious. No table manners what-so-ever. A real hoot to watch gang tackle suet.

Maybe once our defense rebounds to greatness we can call it the Bushtits Swarm. :2thumbs:

I will be flying home from Florida during the game. Just like two weeks ago against the Tards when I was flying to Florida. I am praying for different results.

Good stuff guys. Really nice to get a playoff win! Ugly game, but we had just enough beautiful spots in it to get the W.
DK is a stud!

Love the bird pic! I have scads of birds here. My place is like a prairie island of diverse habitat. River botton, wooded bluff, hillside pasture to the top of a ridge a half mile long. No neighbors to hear me yelling when someone misses a play! I did a fair share of yelling today, but some of it was with arms in the air and a big smile.
Hey, how bout the BEAST scoring again? Lovin that.
