Honestly? I've gotta say I'm pretty confused at this stage given the media and fan hype.

I know I am. I have faith in our guys but whenever we play games like these against a quality opponent I get the butterflys.

Yeah with all the media coverage and non-stop talk, I would swear it's January. Crazy. Never seen anything like it.

It's about as close to a playoff atmosphere as it gets in September. The media, of course, is playing that for all it's worth for ratings and all, but the truth is, the loser has a bit of a hole to climb out of re: the division title.

I wouldn't say I'm nervous because it's at home, but yeah, this is a biggie.

If we don't pull off the W this week,...next week will be a downer for sure,...it will linger in my mind all week,...

It's September with a feeling like January. I don't remember wanting to beat a team this early in the season as bad as I want to beat the nine terds. Don't get me wrong I want to beat every team we play, but it does have that January feel about it. It's a great way to set the tone in the NFC West. I know it's just 1 of the 16 in the regular season, but this is a game that can start the beginning of them chasing us not us trying to catch up to them.
