Have you heard something new?

He has been taking it slow because he has knee issues. As far as I know, he'll be fine for the regular season.

They don't put him out there in preseason, he also had that knee therapy. So far all we know he's a go for Week 1.

I'm not sure. Was watching replay of chiefs vs 9ers. Saw a ticker run across the bottom of screen.(didn't get to read the whole thing) Knee jerk reaction to ask.

NEWS UPDATE
Rice (knee), who finally returned to practice Tuesday, might not play in the exhibition season but hopes to be ready for Week 1, the Seattle Times reports.

ROTOWIRE FANTASY ANALYSIS
Coach Pete Carroll said the team is "hooting for the opener. We'll see what happens this week." Rice probably won't play in this week's exhibition game, but he might be able to get a taste of action in the final preseason game if all goes well. As long as he's healthy and in game shape by Week 1, he should be OK.

He was practicing 2 Mondays ago when Dom and I were there, although he did end practice with a big icewrap on his knee and a hitch to his gait.

Fingers. Crossed.
