Haha yeah I don't think your stats are 100% correct
Last five games played last season: @ Buffalo (W), vs. San Fran (W), vs. St. Louis (W), @ Washington (W), @ Atlanta (L).

Ah my bad...misread your OP. Apologies

Too small of a sample size and too many wild cards to say he's regressing. He could be playing better though.

I still wouldn't trade him for another QB in the league.
You wouldn't trade him for Peyton?

I wonder if this thread is related to Seattles high suicide rates.

Step back from the ledge people

For this year? Probably. But Peyton has what, maybe 1 or 2 years left? Wilson could be great for another decade plus.

Quarterback play is the only deciding factor on a team's record?

I dunno...maybe you should ask Matt Schwaub. Or Tony Romo. A QB may not win a game all by himself but he sure as hell can lose one.

I think russel is doing quite well for the cards he's been dealt. The O.coordinator needs to add some dynamics and depth to the play calling. I feel like I'm watching replays of russel over and over. Its the same crap. Yes he can scramble and run but he shouldn't have to run face first into 3 line backers just to get us a first down. We have receivers and running backs for that. Last thing we need is for Wilson to get hurt

Here's what I want to know regarding the pass plays being called. Where are all the short, quick passes? Screens, slants, quick outs, stuff to take advantage of aggressive blitzes. Seems like a lot of the pass plays are deeper routes off of play action or rollouts that take some time to develop.

Could it just be that RW is not progressing at as fast a pace as he did last season?

Sounds exactly like the Vikings offense right now. Musgrave doing all this crap with 10 yard or more patterns and the Oline getting killed leading to Ponder not doing very well. Last game against the Steelers he calls alot more short passes and what do you know the offense does good and they win. That and the Fact Patterson is basically a larger clone of Harvin yet they have barely called the same plays they called with Harvin even though Patterson could easily have 400 or so yards right now.

I believe he is regressing at the same rate Kaep is regressing at... I had this conversation with a friend this week. NFL coaches are too smart and catch on to "new" strategies. Look at the Eagles 1st week and 2nd week... teams are too athletic and are smart enough to make the correct adjustments. NFL teams have locked onto mobile quarterbacks this year, and especially, have locked in on the read option. With Russell Wilson, teams have learned to keep him inside the pocket as much as possible, as his vision isn't the best. I hope he turns out to be Drew Brees, but tbh the passing game has looked terrible the past few weeks.

Not sure it has anything to do with adjustments on the qb.

RW seems to be missing with his passes, over throwing, what ever, just doesn't look in sync with his receivers.
Yeah Baldwin has made some great catches.. and that's what they have been.. great, can't rely on that.

Maybe all that training RW had in the off season to strengthen his legs has messed up with his timing... he's just a lot stronger and his passes are going further.

This this this, play calling play calling play calling, not even slightly convinced Bevell can get us to the promise land calling plays like this.

I don't believe he's regressing, but I don't think his improvement was that great either if much. Might and probably has to do a lot with the oline though.

If you judge games by stats for him, then you probably think he sucks, but like last year, his per game stats aren't really eye popping. If you watch him play though, you know he's the one that has kept us in games. We've lived and died in his hands. His overthrows are nothing new, he did it a lot last year and people talked about it last year, no one ever made that big of a deal out of it aside from a few threads cause we were winning down the stretch.

Teams have a full year of film on him. The fact that he is still doing what he does shows that they still can't catch up to him. I think he just gets a little excited and tends to overthrow. We focus in on these negative plays, but really, he does so much very well that I refuse to get caught up on his very few shortcomings. It's not a fundamental flaw. It can be corrected and I think as he continues to settle in he will be fine. There isn't a QB in the league I would rather have right now. (Yes, I mean Peyton too) Sure, there are guys that can make those throws that he misses, but with the way this team is built, especially the o-line, Russell is the most complete QB for what he has to do. He's not perfect, he will make bad throws, but he rarely makes poor decisions. At the end of the day, I will take that.

I'm not so sure opposing teams have figured out how to stop RW. He's the first Seahawks QB to rush for over 100 yards. First ever.

He had the colts defense gassed in the 3rd qtr.

The colts are 4-1 for a reason. They're good.

I didn't expect the Hawks to go undefeated this year. Did anyone?

Oh, well....let the venting continue.....

but anyway wilson had an average preaseason and flat out has not been passing the ball well at all
Tjacks has been nothing short of spectacular, its obvious he never was in any competiion ever, because simply enough he outplayed wilson at every time he gets a chance just like wilson did to flynn

I will not take it and think we should let Wilson walk when he demands a new contract. He's too short to play in the NFL. not a very friendly caring guy, and doesn't really work hard, just yells swear words on the field like shit etc.

Defenses have made adjustments to the way he plays. It is time for our offense to make adjustments as well to counter those. Knowing RW's high IQ, work ethic and will to succeed, I'm convinced he will process all the information and continue to make progress.
Playing in the NFL requires constant adjustment. RW is the right guy and there is NOTHING that makes us believe there is someone better.
Our receiver core is not bad either. I think they lost focus today and had uncharacteristic drops.
Sometimes, losses are good, because they make players focus.
If there is something called a "good loss", I think today's loss was a good one. I was seriously worried about us going undefeated ... Because players take things for granted and fans believe the team is "perfect".
We were sent back down to earth. Let's bounce back. The Titans are a very good team and we need to make sure we are focus and ready to play them. Pete will remind them that.
I still believe .. we will win the SB.

Is it bad that I fully expect to go 15-1 14-2?
