I'm sorry for asking because I know that many are sick of the topic... Is Percy Harvin supposed to play this weekend?

No. We have no clue when he will be playing.

I wouldn't go that far. I doubt he'll sit on the bench once he's been activated and we need to activate him by next week. My bet is he plays against the Vikings. He may not get starter's reps, but I'd wager he gets playing time

No, for more detailed info, check out the plethora of Harvin threads.

Probably for NO is how I'm reading this. It all seems to be pretty slow at this point.

I think the Seahawks have been cautious enough that it's safe to say that we won't see Harvin until he is healthy enough to play the rest of the season with us. Regardless of he's on the active or not.

So what you are saying is that for all these weeks Pete was telling us exactly when Harvin would play.

Reporter to Pete: is Harvin gonna play this week?

Pete: NO (which meant New Orleans)

Do you know how much wasted time we have spent wondering and asking when Harvin would finally play and all along Pete told everyone it would be against New Orleans or NO?

I hope you're right. But I'm afraid ol' Pete started the clock a bit too soon. I'm guessing even after being activated, he may not show.

BTW, is anybody else tired of hearing "day by day, we want to be careful".

There really is no other answer to provide. What do you actually expect him to say that would satisfy you?

Personally, i would like a sticky on the Harvin injury status that says "Hes Out" and thats it.

It doesn't change until he is active on a game day.

Harvin will never play. The FO only signed him as a publicity stunt and will be releasing him before they have to add him to the 53 man roster.

I think he plays next week.. gets a game in (because live action is obviously a different speed than practice), then gets the bye to heal up and see how he feels.. and goes the rest of the season.

Harvin is in Phase 2 of whatever number of phases there is for him to come back!

How many phases do you all think there is?

My God, how can anyone in today's day and age not recognize a Princess Bride quote? Inconceivable!

Even though I'm sure he WANTS to play against Minnesota, I think Pete holds him out til after the bye.

Percy needs one week of practice at full speed, and so far it's been one day on, one day off. So that tells me he's close, but not close enough.
