YEAH, rumore. I just don't get the impression the Hawks are all that impressed with their draft class this year.
Reading some the blogs of those that attended OTA and the practice scrimmages.. most reported that Wilson was way ahead of Price, the #3 Nehemiah Pritchett wasn't making a very good show which is why they seemed compelled to bring in Noah Igbinoghene. and the drafted CB's were behind in the 2nd string and 3rd string offense. The bloggers just didn't seem to have much excitement about them. I could be wrong, but it's how I took it.Serious question, what has led you too that conclusion?
Probably not, They can probably only come up with one draft class that was worse in recent memory.. that was the class where we took the LB @ #2 or 3 that turned Preacher. ooooh.. wasn't he from Notra Dame as well? Damn, can't remember his name... and how sucky was it for us to have that high a pick in the arguably the worst draft class ever.SB Champs, 14 wins in the reg season, drafting at #32. We should have a top notch draft class off of that?
Okay.

Yeah that/s the guyAaron Curry?
Yeah I did, Guess it's a numbers thing, who played on the first line, 2nd and 3rd. Why did they feel they needed to bring in Noah? Bloggers can tell you that and it's an indication of where players rank. Of course that's not to say, what happens in training camp of course.I understand that some of the bloggers might not be excited, but you had said "the Hawks". I do not give much attention to (the bloggers), it is just their opinion. Until something from the actual team says otherwise, I will stick with the positive I read.
Yeah.. you're right, thought it was right after for some reason.Just to clarify...
The Hawks signed Noah Igbinoghenein in the middle of March, about a month and some change in advance of the 2026 NFL draft before they picked ANY of their drafted CB's...
Why not? Many of the Seahawks players are drafted after the first round.SB Champs, 14 wins in the reg season, drafting at #32. We should have a top notch draft class off of that?
Okay.
I wonder if some of the defensive players seeming to be "behind" is not just being new to the team or being rookies - but also just the complexity of MacD's defensive scheme / planning to some extent. I feel like we saw it take a big step forward this past year after most of the guys had a year under their belts. So maybe at this point - it isn't necessarily a player not turning out to be what they expect.Reading some the blogs of those that attended OTA and the practice scrimmages.. most reported that Wilson was way ahead of Price, the #3 Nehemiah Pritchett wasn't making a very good show which is why they seemed compelled to bring in Noah Igbinoghene. and the drafted CB's were behind in the 2nd string and 3rd string offense. Very true and a lot of the time it is the case. I really on the edge of my seat waiting for training camp to open up..it's going to be such an exciting season.I wonder if some of the defensive players seeming to be "behind" is not just being new to the team or being rookies - but also just the complexity of MacD's defensive scheme / planning to some extent.
