I highly doubt they're unhappy also. I am also sure they knew before camp that they didn't expect much from some of the picks. At least in the first couple of years. I would find it more likely that if there is any disappointment its from those OUTSIDE the offices at the VMAC, whose voices are more commonly heard by fans, than the coaches themselves. For me, if we retain say,5 of the 8 picks, and 2-3 become starters, I'd say we did quite well considering we went in with only 4 picks. But, as always, we'll see.

Well said. Picking when they did, can only expect so much. But it seems like they had a hell of a draft. And after what we've seen from JS in recent years, dude is hitting it out of the park.

I don't think they'll have any real idea on their draft class until training camp with pads on. It wouldn't shock me if they did grab a veteran corner on a year deal while the younger corners go through their growing pains.

Sports illustrated said his cap hit next year is $30 million but the Seahawks have $25 million available. With 2 years on his current contract, they can restructure and make it work.

The draft cost would be low because teams want to hold on to those valuable 2027 picks...around a 4th (According to SI).

Only 1 other team has 2 Pro Bowler CBs (Eagles). Arms races are not cheap and the only thing that is more expensive is not winning the Super Bowl.

The money is there, the extra tradable draft picks are there and so JS needs to go out and make this trade happen! How many chances will any team get to trade for an under the age of 30, 4 time CB Pro Bowler??? Almost none, it's time JS!

Probably not, They can probably only come up with one draft class that was worse in recent memory.. that was the class where we took the LB @ #2 or 3 that turned Preacher. ooooh.. wasn't he from Notra Dame as well? Damn, can't remember his name... and how sucky was it for us to have that high a pick in the arguably the worst draft class ever.

I absolutely hated the Curry pick. I was Team Crabtree, but had we selected him and he didn't end up on the Niners, one of the greatest moments in team history doesn't happen, so maybe Curry wasn't so bad after all.
