Jim Souhan, a sports columnist with the Star-Tribune in Minneapolis, spent last season criticizing Darnold and urging the Vikings to get rid of him. He wrote: "No QB controversy here . . . clear Vikings must dump Sam Darnold and develop J.J. McCarthy." Then after they lost in the playoffs: "The guy who played quarterback for the Vikings the past two games should be no part of their future."

This idiot then doubled down this year after the Seahawks beat the 49ers, saying:
"A segment of the Vikings fanbase will scream about Darnold making it to the NFC Championship Game with the Seahawks. That’s why you need to watch the games, not just the scoreboard. Darnold has not played well of late. He threw for only 124 yards in Seattle’s 41-6 divisional-round victory on Jan. 17 over a 49ers team shredded by injuries. He ran for zero yards." He also called Darnold "a game manager."

Wow. I wonder if he apologized to Darnold after the NFCCG? It's mind-boggling to criticize someone for winning a game by 35 points. I guess he must have a hard time admitting when he's wrong.

I've been high on Darnold and even that video surprised me. People really argued Geno was better, what a wild world we live in. Darnold has been much better than the group-think would lead you to believe.

It’s crazy that he’s the winningest QB over the last 2 seasons and the bulk of the media still talk about him as a game manager type QB. And he did it playing for 2 different teams which makes it way harder.

To me he is elite… For the talking heads that don’t really know shit about football, it’ll probably take winning 60 to change that narrative
All QBs are game managers. Some do it better than others. That's the basic responsibility of a QB, manage and control the game on offense. Just like a point guard is a "game manager" in basketball.

I went to his article list and the closest he came to mentioning anything regarding the Seahawks after that is when he put out a Belichek story regarding the Patriots and Seahawks.

There is no article with him mentioning Darnold at all. What a clown.

He does have an email if you want to tell him what an idiot he is. [email protected]
