I'd much rather face the Broncos in February than the Patriots

Peyton melts in cold weather, Brady dominates

Peyton really should have gone to SF. It is warm enough there for him to play consistently well in the winter, and he would have won a ring with them. This is what he gets for trying to avoid his brother/the up-and-coming defenses in the NFCW.
He would be out of the league if he went to San Francisco. Unless he keeps getting bailed out like tonight.

#1 Power Ranking here we come?

#BCS

lol no. Patriots will leapfrog everyone for #1 in the power rankings. Broncos will be two. Seattle 3. Cuz Brady and Manning, that's why.

I love how that game is being billed as another epic overtime battle between two future hof qbs instead of what it was, a shitty fumble filled game with multiple muffed punts and horrendous defensive play throughout.

KK84, I'd actually say the Patriots defense played pretty well. Seven of the 31 points Denver got were on a fumble recovery returned for a TD, and another TD was on what, like a 15 or 20-yard field from another fumble turnover?

They gave up 224 yds to Moreno. There's bend but don't break defenses, but that's ridiculous.

Who cares if they gave up 600 yards to Moreno? They kept Peyton Manning's offense to 24 points. Realistically more like 17.

"It is supposed to be snowy and freezing according to long-term forecasts".

This part, to me, is ridiculous. Yes folks, I know..."it's football", but there should be no advantage for any team over another in deciding a championship. What if SD fought their way to the SB, but had to play GB in the snow?

Further, such weather just complicates the logistics of everything, from the media to the fans, etc. A big reason I do not plan to be in attendance.

But surely Green Bay are actually disadvantaged by the fact that they have to play in the snow several times during the regular season?
Yes, you can look at any one off and say Green Bay have the advantage of playing a team not used to playing in snow, but they have to do it regularly should either mean it's A: tough for them, or B: unfair that they have to play in a warmer climate than they are used to

IMO if you can't win the game because of a little snow you shouldn't be the NFL champion

Denver might want to drop a couple more games to avoid playing in their own field come playoff time to avoid weather as Manning is as flexable as an ice cube when the temp hits anything less than 50...Welker also had a couple bad drops...Pats fans were used to that though. Unless the NFL and refs get involved I just don't think either team would beat the Seahawks...

During the game, the announcers were saying that Manning needed to wear a tight glove during the cold because it helps him grip the ball due to nerve damage sustained from the neck surgeries. Yeah, cold weather is gonna impact him down the stretch.
