Last year the Hawks had the best run game in the league. Except for the wildcard game ; the run game was very dependable every week . This year the run game runs hot and cold ; but more cold . Is it the OL or RBs or play calls ? Something feels definitely off though . IMO

It generally takes our O-line 5-6 games before they really hit their stride. I think part of the problem is the lack of contact drills in training camp. They don't hit a lot before the season starts, so when the pads go on for reals, they're just getting ready. I'm not totally concerned just yet.

Our run game was pretty bad the first two games last year. The run game was starting to pickup yesterday we had two 15+ yard runs right before Carson's fumble. Carson ran very tentatively after the fumble.

Yeah there were several holes that Carson slipped and therefore didn't get the available yardage but the opposite side of that coin is the short yardage runware the Seahawks got stuffed. So to me there are both positive and concerning signs

3 games in, way too early to got overly concerned. If it's still not clicking in mid-October, then it's time start worrying a little bit.

Well if you're predictable AND poorly executing your plays by making mistakes, penalties and your starting RB has a bad case of the fumbles?

Voila, inconsistent run game.

Attention all NFL teams:
RB-Carson from Seattle has a fumble in each of the 1-st 3 games, so all defenders need to try and strip him of the ball on every run. He also has a history of injury, so kick or punch him hard in the nuts or face a few times when the refs aren't looking. Then,,,,,, Victory will be assured.

I'm frustrated with the lack of variety and creativity in the run game.
The shotgun read option is just too predictable now. Defenses are geared up and ready to stuff that play.

Wheres the I formation? Where's the counter? Wheres the jet sweep? Wheres the stretch?

NOTE: This post has been deleted 5/22/20, ------- this comes after multiple unprovoked attacks on me by the asshole acer1240. I will never post here again. This site has officially gone to hell & I'll never return.

And call the same stale draw play over and over and over again...…..
We have to agree this time...is it Schotty or Carroll running the offense ? It really doesn't matter . One of them is looking really shaky so far... IMO of course

So that leaves Penny and Prosise the 1-2 punch Rbs for the Hawks ? There is a rookie in the RB room ...why not ?
