I'm rooting for Dallas for two reasons

1. I'd much rather play Dallas on the road than Washington assuming we're the fifth seed. I think that's a team that we can handle. Just like Wilson, RGIII is something special and he does so many things that Romo is not capable of.

2. If the Redskins lose and finish 9-7 and out of the playoffs and we win finishing 11-5 it increases the chances that Wilson takes home the Rookie of the Year award. I honestly can't argue with any of Luck, RGIII or Wilson winning the award. They've all had very special rookie years. It is amazing how much Wilson has closed the gap in the last month or so. Interestingly enough, Sportsline.com has a pool about rookie of the year on their front page right now. Wilson is in the LEAD with 40 percent of the vote (more than 16,000 votes).

RGIII and Wilson yes, Luck hell No.. yes he has the most passing yrds for a rookie, but he also has a sh*t load of pics, not to mention, behind in the TD catagory... RGIII has the least pic's and wilson has the most td's and probably beats mannings TD record this sunday

between RW and RGIII in my opinion.... Luck's numbers are not as good.

I would rather play RGIII.

That way neither QB has the advantage of having playoff experience. Plus it removes the chance for having the whole revenge factor play into the game. Plus, I would rather play the best instead of trying to avoid them. If the Redskins are the team the Seahawks have to play, I have a feeling our defense will be able to defend their offense and keep the game competitive.

EDIT: Though some of their fans from AK (Gary with the dancing avatar dude) can be some serious trolls. But it is the playoffs and the trolling tends to go up as the stakes get higher.

I completely disagree. Even in Seattle Romo threw dimes under pressure, but Seattle is 2-0 vs option style QBs this year.

I would rather we play on field turf (Dallas) than Grass (Washington) but maybe it doesn't matter.

I totally want Washington. I want to play the best teams and beat them. We've already taken down Dallas. Sometimes the team that lost has a better chance of winning, although I think we are vastly different now so it's like preparing for a completely different team.

I just want to play a new opponent. If RGIII was to kill us and win, I would tip my hat and feel like he deserves the ROY. If we roll them up, advantage Wilson.

Romo has been playing almost flawlessly these past few weeks and Dez Bryant has the ability to score from anywhere on the field. I would much rather play Washington who has an average defense and no real WR threats than go into the game knowing Romo could drop 350 yards and 3 TDs. RG3 also looked very hobbled last week so if his knee stays sore we don't have to worry about him taking off for big plays.

You weren't trying to, but you just changed my mind. We are 2-0 when we play a team for the second time, and both times were ass kickings. Give Russ two looks at a D, they are scuh-rewed.

Bring on Dallas.

Doesn't matter to me. Although it would help RW in ROY voting if RG3 wasn't in the playoffs at all. But then again, it could be even better if RW beats RG3 in Wash.

That aside, the NFC East is pretty weak and I like our chances vs both teams. I do think as a whole, Dallas is the better team and would be the tougher matchup, but I also think we matchup pretty well against them. And if Sherman plays, then Dez doesn't worry me much at all.

None of this matters though because we will beat the rams and the 9ers and packers will lose. We will be the #2 seed and will have a week off. :th2thumbs:

I don't want a week off. I don't want them losing any of their swagger and momentum. But that's just me.

Dez may have a big game vs us just like Brandon Marshall did when we played the Bears. We would definitely have to limit Witten and the run game.

The biggest thing for me, going into the playoffs, is how big of a role turnovers have in the playoffs. Russell Wilson is really safe with the ball. Kearly has pointed out repeatedly that a lot of Wilson's INTs have come from tips or receivers falling down, etc. That doesn't show up in the stat sheet, but I think it is important to keep in mind when you consider Wilson's ball security.

I guess I am saying, I really don't care who we play. If we play well we will advance week by week.

We played those teams for a 2nd team after we lost to them though.

I think it's much easier to play for revenge rather than to defend the title. Anyone remember 2010 playoffs where it was we were either going to Chitown or Atlanta? Everyone said Chicago cause we beat them before, and we got blown out. Let's go play some new blood in the Redskins. Cowboys IMO have a small advantage because we beat them bad. They want revenge.

Anyways, I wanna beat up on RG3

It doesn't matter to me. Dallas will go limp, again, by the final quarter, and RGIII is going to do a lot of sliding if we play Washington, lest he get blown up worse than Vernon Davis. Neither NFC East team scares me.

I would rather play WSH. I think we had some luck go our way against Dallas. Dropped passes, special teams turnovers and such. You can't count on those things happening again and Romo did move the football against us. Washington does not have anyone on offense that scares me except RGIII. But i think we can contain him. I think WSH gives us a much better chance to win.

Edit: Plus as my father always says (Bills Fan) i have two favorite teams every week. The Bills and whoever is playing Dallas.

Bring on Washington for a ROY Mano a mano. RGIII will likely win ROY but we will fly into Washington and make him look ordinary. We have as good a chance against Washington as we do against Dallas. RG3 won't want to run too much against us after seeing the dismantling of CK and Ninners. Folks will see the difference between these two star rookie quarterbacks is that RW=all business all the time. Go Hawks!

The thing about Washington is that they have not been to the playoffs in years, Dallas knows how to step it up, Washington doesn't know whats coming yet. Secondly Shanahan made his mark with the run in Denver, they have a back but I think we can limit his effectiveness and force RGIII into a passing game, again favors us and our secondary. Officials tend to let teams play more in the playoffs, our physical style will only look and be better once we are there.

One last thing, a team like Washington that has struggled for so long will look at making the playoffs as an accomplishment, we know from our experience that it's just the first step and means nothing if you don't do something with it.

Coming out and smacking them in the face and getting up early once again makes them play catch up with a emotional coach who doesn't do well from behind.

I'd play either team, but I'd rather go against Jason Garrett than Mike Shanahan
