milk more clock before scoring dont forget about Marshawns goal line fumble last week. You take the points when you can(including 4th and 1 on the 20 or so in the first quarter :D )

I would have liked to see Lynch Run out of bounds at the 1 or down himself there. In the back of my mind I knew 30 second was way too much time, especially after they had a good return. I think the percentage chance of us not running it in after 4 tries from the 1 is smaller than the chance of Ryan having a couple quick 1st downs.

With a couple time-outs maybe you gamble but oh boy if the Falcons do a goal line stand. At the time you are trying to take the lead. When I saw the 31 secs the little doubt genie thought of Chicago and how Cutler hit the Seahawks with that big pass to put it into overtime.

Cannot play scared. Score the TD and have your defense set so they don't give up 40 plus yards in 25 secs to allow the winning FG. Even though this may not be your father's Seahawks, they still have those gremlins hanging around mucking things up.

Couldn't agree more. Take the points at all times. Nothing is automatic in the NFL.

Hell Marshawn fumbled on the goal-line today too.

In a game that comes down to the last seconds.. there are going to be all kinds of "what-ifs"

sure, considering the Hawks D did such a stand up job all day and Atl would be FORCED to throw the ball, if thats the strategy you must insure you can bury the kick off in the end zone, if they needed a TD then that would be different, from the 30 a FG is just one pass away or 6 seconds..

at times all you need is strategy, that was one of em... :th2thumbs:

Usually I'd agree, but we were moving the ball at will. However we were also stopping Atlanta with ease. Why we changed from press coverage to zone when we'd just forced two punts and an interception in the last 3 Atlanta drives was beyond me though
