If we lose Harvin are we still the favorite to win the NFC?

42-13 was awesome, but we also lost in the playoffs. Get off that 42-13 shit.

Uhm so did the Niners, what's your point? Are you implying it was last year so it doesn't matter?

I don't know if he was, but I will. Time to move on, the season has actually started so how about we stop referencing something from the past? We all know how lame it is when 9ers fans do...

Just got back from Vegas. Niners are favored over Seahawks for NFC West, NFC Championships and Superbowl. But by very small odds.

i.e. Seahawks SB win 7/1 vs Niners SB Win 6/1

Seahawks vs Niners Home Opener:

-120
2.5

Translation, win by 3 points, $120 bet pays $100.

That doesn't mean favored. That's the betting line based on money coming. It could mean more money is being bet on the Niners so they are sweetening the pot to balance the betting. Vegas odds are not an indicator of who they think will win.

Teams with larger fan bases are always going to have more homer betters that can affect the betting line. For the most part though the top teams for betting purposes are us and SanFran.

no, we are done

Exactly! I hope that attitude spreads like wildfire through the mediots. This team plays best with a collective chip on its should. I wouldn't want it any other way.

We were a pass rush away from the big show last season. That and being underestimated will keep the fire in their belly.

Also, when it comes to Harvin, we don't even know what we don't know right now. So stop worrying.

I agree that there is still hope, but just FYI, being concerned over the unknown is pretty much the definition of worrying. Just ask any mother. They are very good at it.
Your mom has multiple personality disorder too?

Oh, she's a nut, but not that flavor. Also, I think I missed the joke.

Not much of a joke. I have a family friend with MPD, and I refer to them as they. I guess the ultimate inside joke is one only I get, right?

I am really not worried at all. I like that Percy gives this team an extra weapon, but it is looking like Christine Michael does too, so we have still gained. Turbin and Michael both look like guys who can split out if need be. This coaching staff is going to get all the weapons on the field. I like Rice, but it isn't like our QB threw half his targets to the guy last year.

It's great to be the favorite but the reality is there's about 5 teams who can win it and it doesn't't necessarily come.down only to talent, we are definitely in that 5 , but when was the last time the favorite won the sb
Agree. And on top of that injuries throughout the NFL (outside of the 49ers and Seahawks) also affects the rest of the 32. Every team is going to have injuries - and that's the wildcard that in injected to the Vegas oddsmakers predictions.
