Doubt our chances in any game again . I thought for sure we would lose this one with what we were up against . So I have seen the light . This season this team is special !

This was the first time I ever did, it looked so bleak, then you get a reminder that this isn't the Seahawks we used to know.

I was so upset I almost turned the game off in the third quarter. But then I thought about the several other games we won this way and calmed down a bit. The Sherm pick 6 is when I knew we were gonna do it.

Never a doubt but I will also never assume a win either.

Me being in Japan, the game started at like 2:00 AM local time Monday morning, so I planned on watching NFL game pass later in the day. I remember waking to take care of nature, then getting back in bed and telling myself not to check the score because I might never get back to sleep. Well, curiosity got the better of me, so I opened the Seahawk app on my smart phone, and saw 20 - 3 at halftime! Bad mistake as my pulse wouldn't settle down for the better part of an hour. When my alarm went off at 6:00 am, I knew the game was over, so I checked the phone again it hadn't updated! An 'oh well' sort of feeling started settling over me, then the app finally refreshed. Needless to say, today turned out much better than it could have.

We have a Michigan Wolverine fan at work who commented during highlights "oh, so the Seahawks didn't really 'win' that game." I told him to check the score again. He had to throw in a comment about our DBs and PEDs as well. Can't get over how so many college football fans use Pete's success at USC and Reggie Bush as the reason their team couldn't measure up. Dude acts like Pete writing checks to Reggie Bush and now walks through VMAC passing out HGH, sigh. I've debated taking the time to explain to him what really happen and the dynamic involved in imposing such severe and lopsided sanctions on the FB program, but would probably be wasting my breath.

I never doubted them even at the half. I just remembered the 4th quarter of the Atlanta game and I was at peace.

I will never ... watch future Seahawks games sober. Blood pressure soared through the roof in the 4th quarter. They are not good for my health. How do they win that game? Amazing sight to witness.

I was thinking the same thing after the game, I might need to take advantage of our new laws before and after each game, that was TOOOOOO much.

The whole game I just kept telling myself, "Someone has got to make a play." At the half I thought man if they can get something going on that first possession in the 3rd they'll be ok, nope, 3 and out. Then, the Hawks D wakes up and gets a stop, "Ok, we're still alive." Field goal, ok some progress, something they can build on. Another good stop by the D, and another and another, then we snake a fumble. At the Beast Mode TD, I'm definitely feeling the momentum shift. With 5 minutes or so to go, I'm confident the D will stand up and get another stop. They do one better by producing a freaking pick six, the game is tied, damn....what the hell just happened? Going into OT even when we lost the coin toss, I just knew this team was not going to be denied.

This team has no quit, they're special, young, up against a wall but refuse to panic, one play at a time, "stay in the now" on a mission!

I was never upset, I was content to lose, but worried about getting curbstomped. With the clock running down, I literally told the room "they need a turnover here" and on the next play Sherm picked the ball. I was LAUGHING because I couldn't believe Schaub threw it, but then I remembered that RW has thrown for first downs on short yardage. I still couldn't believe that the one thing we needed actually happened. Like Browner getting a strip in the GB game last year that they didnt recover, the Hail Golden, the deep TD to Rice against NE and the Chicago 4th down completion.

I won't bet on the Hawks to win every game, but I will never assume a loss like I did this week. How can we pick against them after THAT?

Funny thing is I expected a comeback. Don't know why but I just did. I also expected Houston to go down the field and score at the end which they didn't.

I started a "joke thread" about Sherman waiting until 5 secs left for the pick 6 next time but decided some people would blame me if we had lost so didn't post it :)

Me either, though after the first half I wanted it to be over (I was at the Atlanta game and did not feel the same though - thought they would come back in that game, but the Texans weredominating). Then it was like the end of the Cowboys game in '05 - I could not believe it was happening! Fantastic and I will not lose hope again- they just chip away and find a way...
