I was happy to see a division opponent lose last night, but

you have got to feel for the 49ers. I think they had one starter on the field. It felt like the Packers were playing a JV team.

I'd have rather the Packers lost last night but don't feel a tad bit of sympathy for the Digits.

The Packers are a greater rival for the conference than the 49ers.

The injury gods have taken most of the 9ers weapons away. If they were like the Eagles, it's possible they end up at 8-8 or maybe 9-7 at the very best. I didn't see that from them last night with the new players; it's like the whole offense was disjointed and increasingly playing without heart. I sensed a sense of impeding Dalassness on their team. On top of this, Mullens is far, far from a Bridgewater and the whole team falls apart without Jimmy G.

The Rams haven't been hit with anything that bad. Since the Fisher days they've been in our heads somewhat (remember when Rams went 2-14 and the wins were all against Seattle when we had the LOB)? Jalen Ramsey will probably be available when we have to play them. Those games will be close.

We've had already extensive convos about the Cards. They are definitely a threat.

So in threat order i see seahawks>cards>rams>49ers.

Make no mistake about it. We wanted the Packers to lose last night. They are going to be right there, along with the Bucs, at the end of December trying to steal our #1 seed from us. That's why they say just worry about you and take care of business each week and it won't matter what the other teams do.

Pre-season I had the Rams last in our division. They have made me look bad (thanks to weak schedule?), but I didn't know the 9ers would be so depleted by injuries. GB doesn't look as good as I thought they would, but still they persist. I think our division comes down to us/Cards. Would like to see GB lose some games soon. I can see possibility of a rematch in Conf playoff rnds.

Cards have a top 10 defense and offense. They are for real and we’ll need to get the split with them to win the division.

Rams don’t really scare me, probably because we won’t sleep on them.

Niners keep getting high draft picks because of injuries. That’s how they got back to the superbowl, picked top 5 three years in a row and then everyone got healthy...

I could almost feel sorry for Nooner fans last night, because it was...to put it mildly an azz whoopin.

At one point Rodgers got sacked, and just got up and laughed it off. There was a pass to the endzone where no defender for the Nines was within 20 yards. I don't think Kyler Murray is at the point we need to worry beyond boy can he run fast. But Rodgers, and I'm no fan of him, is dead smart and dangerous.

It will be most likely~

TB
GB
Hawks

I know arizona beat us but our defense i think will be better and russ wont throw 3 picks.

I think TB vs Hawks for NFC Conference title

I agree. As much as it pained me to admit, I was hoping for a SF victory last night. We're going to be battling with GB and TB for home field advantage for the rest of the season, and I really don't want to face Rodgers in GB. He scares me more than Brady. Can't forget about the Saints either.

As for the Niners, with all their injuries, they're done. No longer a threat. They're a shell of what they started out to be. Will likely finish last in the division.

Scary to think about rooting for a 9er victory, but I was, it would've helped us. On the plus side, the niners looked cooked and with a QB controversy (lack there of a QB) to boot... I would be sick if TB and Brady go to the Super Bowl though... I think it's us. We are young and hungry. Enough of Tom Brady. Why not us?

Honestly, I think we have as good a chance as anyone. And that's not the homer in me speaking.

We have a HOF and MVP QB, and plenty of weapons for him to throw to. We have a very good RB in Carson, and I'm hoping Penny will be ready to go soon. And we have a much improved OL. We are set on offense. If they can get the defense straightened out, and I firmly believe the talent is there for that to happen, we will be very tough for anyone to beat. I really believe in this team as long as they play aggressive on defense.

I feel no sympathy for the 9ers and their woes.

Shit happens, and I dont like their team.

At all.

But.. would not have saddened me to see them win against the packers.

Would be nice to see them beat the Rams and Cards though, so they need to get some health back.

IMO, there's zero chance they end up 9-7, and very little chance they even end up .500.

I do actually feel sorry for them as well. It speaks to the depth they had to even have the record they have now, but the football gods have been extra cruel to them this season.
