I miss Pete

I fully support our new coach and don't think he was a bad hire or there's anyone who can tell how he will do this early. I'm not one of the people already saying fire MM. But this does make me miss Pete. He was the greatest coach in the history of this franchise and like him or not he was an infectious personality. I miss the guy and I miss seeing him Chomp gum on the sidelines.

One thing you can always say about his teams is that they always fought hard

His last three years especially were riddled with mediocrity and poor fundamentals.

I guess you can say one could miss the idea of Pete Carrol, but in reality he had to go.

I have NOT missed Pete for even a second. Even if we went 0-17 this year I would not have missed Pete. The mediocre treadmill we were on was a fate worse than Sysiphus. It is a fate I wish on teams I hate.

in my opinion, Pete earned another year. Back to back winning seasons when you are overhauling the roster is so hard to do.

I will give a couple years before I make harsh radical evaluations on McDonald.

Considering Pete only had 1 losing season and 11 winning seasons in the past 12 years, starting 0-6 seems awfully unlikely. 3-3, just like MM, seems much more likely.

And for the record, yes, I thought it was time to move on from Pete, and no, I don't want him back.
