Geno ain’t it and doe damn sure Howell isn’t it either!
Howell is still on a cheap rookie deal through next season. The Hawks definitely need to *draft* someone to try to develop, but there's no reason to get rid of Howell until you have better options at backup.
Need an Oline first. Probably a handful of QBs who can operate behind this line, Geno is one of them. I don't think any QB can succeed against a good defense with this line. Eventually the pressure and hits will get to anyone. Geno has been playing great all things considered.I hope the Geno can take us all the way talk ends too. NEITHER are the answer. The cowardly GM needs to draft a QB.
How? 9-8 will never get us a QB. Will take years of drafting shit to maybe get lucky again. But he ain’t getting lucky again.I hope the Geno can take us all the way talk ends too. NEITHER are the answer. The cowardly GM needs to draft a QB.
Howell ain’t it. He seems way too spastic.
Take advantage of the time Geno has left. We’ll want to keep an eye on QB talent but until we fix the trenches it’s not going to make a huge difference. Our QB is irrelevant for the next couple years. We need to focus on OL and pass rush with every pick.
I think we would have last draft if they ALL didn’t go early…I hope the Geno can take us all the way talk ends too. NEITHER are the answer. The cowardly GM needs to draft a QB.
This. I wasn't able to see him play, but give him a week working with the 1's in practice and we can evaluate more properly during next week's game. That being said, depending on how severe Geno's injury is, let's give Howell a week of practice with starter reps before we make a snap judgement and throw him under the bus.
Because of that 3rd round pick in 2012, the need to pick a QB went away for a decade.Maybe it ends the talk that Schneider is this QB savant because one of the two QB picks he has made in 14 drafts hit 12 years ago.
