Just looking for some insight on the game since I missed it and came across this gem:

Two studs and two duds for the Seattle Seahawks versus the Tennessee Titans in preseason Week 2

While there were positives to build on, such as Lock's continued development and Bobo's emergence as a potential playmaker, the Seahawks will need to address the critical mistakes that allowed the Titans to snatch victory from their grasp.

Well, Lock’s not even on the team and Bobo had one catch for 14 yards. This is obviously recycled copy from LAST year. Lazy!
Good point. Journalism in general has fallen off a cliff the past several years. Much of what is gushing around the internet is by authors who either make stuff up or steal copy from others just like them, but they prop each other up as legit sources. I trust very little I read in the press these days, including the espn product.

There are very few sources of good journalism these days. Clare Farnsworth retired years ago sadly, but there is The Athletic, Gregg Bell, Mike Sando, Bob Condotta, Michael-Shawn Dugar...We still have some good ones in our Seahawks camp.

This way this article reads makes me think it was written by an AI engine. So not a surprise it would include an inaccurate reference. Still, you’d think a human might have at least proofed it before publishing.
Funny, I had an old page loaded and only saw your response after I hit send. I thought exactly the same thing.

As if the comment about Lock didn't give it away, the way it reads feels completely soulless and pasted together.

This isn't journalism, this is a fansite. Not to be taken seriously. This joker is worse than the average poster on .net because no one here would dare post such nonsense.

It's increasingly difficult to make a living in journalism, so what you get is a reflection on where the money and views are going. If people want more honest, in-depth pieces, they should stop simply giving their business to whoever reports things first. Integrity doesn't pay in the current climate.

I feel that Bob Condotta at the Seattle Times does a great job, as does Michael-Shawn Dugar at the Athletic.

If you want good journalism, be willing to pay for it!
