I think I want us to draft two road grading guards and right tackle and Jalen Milroe.

Just tell him, this is your rookie year, you’re a running back.

Make the line a top 5 run o line and he’s a second back along with either one of our rb’s.

Can he chuck it to DK and JSN?

I think so. I think he develops based on raw talent and work ethic combo. He’ll have the chip on shoulder attitude he has plenty of doubters.

he's ******* awful. He's the one guy I wouldn't draft. Guaranteed bust. Bails from clean pockets, can't move through progressions, zero touch on his passes. Can't diagnose blitz's. Thankfully he won't be an option at 18 and I don't think JS would take him if he was. This is not the QB you are looking for.

My extended family bleeds Crimson Tide, and this guy is a great value version of Lamar Jackson when he got drafted.

He had the best of everything around him and still couldn't win it!
How in the hell is he going to do much in the NFL on that note?
I don't want that mess of a QB on the Hawks.

I'll just say the dude the Patriots took late who has a cannon we were told was trash because he's so raw and no way Seattle should take him. Well he played late in the year and looked incredible. So the idea you can't replace Geno because he's so good or its impossible is a argument lost on me now. There are guys you just have to identify them, trust your scouting process and start tking some chances. If he goes later then taking a chance on a guy with special traits is worth it to me. Better than what we've been doing.

That was the QB I wanted and he showed he's not so raw right?
I hope somehow to still get him but the surprise is out now ..
Joe Milton is his name btw.

Dude that guy made some crazy plays in his one outing. I would love to find a way to get him on the roster.

I've said it before, JS could have just drafted that dude and saved our 3rd round pick we gave for Howell. And there was quite of bit of starting quality players in the 3rd while having a more exciting and hopeful QB prospect. Milton might not turn out to be anything, but c'mon.. Sam Howell?

Matt Flynn looked incredible in a few appearances teams were not knowing he was going to play, we paid him, he could not beat out a 3rd round pick, then was out of the league, teams going against guys they don't get to prepare for can make them look good, now if he played 8 games in a row and still shined you may have something.

But you have to take some chances at some point and NE used a late round pick so if he sucks then who cares, nothing lost.

Chances on a late rounder I agree with, it was the anointing Milton is what I disagreed with, I liked him also as a late rounder, had issues with touch and slow motion if I remember, arm well he could throw it from Seattle to LA.

I think you could get Milroe late 2nd round if you really liked the guy.

You say that like the guy he got beat out by was just some random third rounder, rather than the best QB in franchise history, who was one of the league's best from the start. Not exactly shame in losing that battle, given that Flynn played well and got beat more than he lost it. He later messed up his elbow and was never the same, but he never looked bad for us. Even before the Seahawks, he didnt have a huge body of work, but it wasn't just backups he was looking good against either.

I agree with tempering enthusiasm on Milton, I just think Flynn is a poor example.
