Buck and Aikman are the #1 Crew at Fox

This week we get Burkhardt and Lynch, so I assume Lynch/Buck go to Carolina

Last year vs Atlanta we also did not get #1 crew as i think Billick and Myers called our game.
That means Buck/Aikman were in Green Bay for SF/Green Bay

Atlanta was # 1 seed as are we, and it doesnt make sense to say that the #1 crew doesnt call the game with the 1 seed. Cause EVERYONE KNOWS, that if Dallas or anyone from the NFC EAST are playing, then thats where the # crew goes unfortunately.

Or is it just Fox feels that SF will draw more viewers. It is on a Sunday, but then again, our game vs Atlanta was also Sunday

Anybody know how it works

Im not in love with Aikman/Buck, just curious to know how it works

Fox believes sf car will get higher ratings so that's where they sent the #1 crew. I have a feeling a lot of it has to do with us getting the Saturday afternoon slot, gb sf had the primetime slot last year

SF @ Car is also a 10AM game... So enjoy that SF fans.

I thought SEA was only punished by NFL to be slated in 10A

For the playoffs its kind of ridiculous but it benefits the home teams so win your division so you don't have to travel.

This is just my opinion, but it's generally a much more anticipated matchup when you have a 2 vs 5 than a 1 vs 6. Personally I think it's a toss up this week, and who knows, maybe the #1 team gets to pick their assignment? It's not anything that is decided by the NFL, it's decided by FOX/CBS/NBC for themselves. One thing is for sure, the winner's in the NFC this weekend will get plenty of Buck/Aikman as they will announce both the NFC Championship game AND the Super Bowl

SF/CAR is anticipated to be a closer game. It's a 1.5-2 point spread. That's basically a dead-even match-up. It's also on Sunday afternoon (for most of the country). Plenty of reason for it to be FOX's highlighted game. The GB/SF game last year was on Saturday, but it was also in prime-time, which automatically makes it a highlighted game. FOX got the early Saturday slot this time.

Anyway, whatever rationale they use to keep Buck/Aikman/Oliver out of Seattle is fine by me.

The league and the networks get together and determine how best to screw Seattle fans. There's an internal memo and everything.

Us seattle fans are sure used to that!!
