Let's get the formalities out of the way here.....First and foremost congratulations on the victory against the 49ers. I hope that everyone's voices have recovered and I hope those that lost their hearing have recovered. It must suck to lose your hearing, I've done it before shooting my guns and rifles.

I have been hearing all of this week how great the fans of Seattle are, the 12th man and also how good the Seahawks are at home. This has made me come here and ask the question, just how good are the Seahawks. The media is saying your team is great at home because of the fans, which I think it's a bunch of crap. These guys are professionals and a little noise should not affect how they play.

In a neutral field, are the Seahawks that good and the fans have no outcome on the game?

Does the 12th man really affect the outcome and the Seahawks really aren't that good of a team on neutral play?

Let's see... Seahawks since their last two digit loss deficit (10 points) on 11-6-2011 have gone on to win 19 games to 9. (And are either 8-2 or 9-1 in their last ten games.)

All 9 games have been losses by only 7 points or less for an accumulative loss differential of 37 points... so in the 9 highlighted losses, Seahawks lost by only 4.11 points per game.

Now just add in that fact we've been one and still are one of the youngest teams in the last three years, should begin to answer your question how good we can become.

Then don't forget we are still minus Percy Harvin, Chris Clemons, Bruce Irvin, and Brandon Browner.

How about the poor play on the road? Do they really need the help of their fans?

Welcome! I think it's a fair question after all the attention the 12th man has gotten in the media. The Seahawks are pretty great a home, no doubt, but keep in mind we also won 11 total games last year, and a few of our losses came on final drives where our former DC used to ease up and allow teams to walk down the field on us--the Dolphins did it to us, and Atlanta did it in the playoffs. That DC was prompty, ah, encouraged to take a coaching job elsewhere, so we don't expect that problem this year.

Our secondary is the best in the league no matter what city they're in, Lynch is still the real deal, our MLB was up for DROY last year, our pass rush is greatly improved, Percy Harvin is waiting in the wings, and Wilson will only keep getting better. So what I'm saying is, yes, it's just the fans.

I disagree, I think a lot of your success is due to other teams' offense not being able to hear. Heck, there were people that lost some their hearing this last weekend and voices too. I've already mentioned, these are professional teams, and noise shouldn't be a factor, so it shouldn't be an excuse but that's their lack of professionalism.

I do agree with that secondary being one of the best in the NFL.

I don't watch the Seahawks besides the 2 games my team plays against them but the media are split whether it's the fans or the team is legitimately good.

Maybe they have trouble hearing, but we don't help our team block, we don't catch passes, it's not our fault Boldin can't separate from Sherman, it's not our fault Gore can't penetrate our defensive line, we don't tackle anyone or help our Lynch break tackles. The fans can disrupt communication and affect a few yardage situations (false starts, delay of game, etc.), but they can't play football. Seattle wins games because they play better football.

Are you dumb or just trollin? Let me spell it out I guess.

7 of those losses were on the road...totaling 29 points. That's pretty competitive and the Seahawks will only get better with experience.

Also, Dan Quinn has made the Seahawks defense much much better... no more soft zones or prevent defense... every team from here on out is going to have to earn every yard, every point and not many teams can play a full 60 minutes with our squad.

Don't be surprised to see the Seahawks go 6-2, 5-3 on the road this year plus undefeated at home.

Also, don't be surprised if Rams are in 2nd place in NFC West by seasons end.

and sorry if I come off as a dick, I learn from the best, props to Tical.

We can safely say that the Seahawks are not a good road team. They have never shown to be one outside of Seattle. You have yet to explain their poor road record.

All you have brought to this thread is how competitive they are and the combined total of points in those losses which has nothing to do with the premise of my thread.

I know hearing and voices were lost this weekend but loud noise should not have an affect on reading comprehension.

I won't call you a troll because I use the term Punk for chumps like you.

Let's see. We are 1-0 on the road, what are you guys? 3-29? No wait, that was the score of the ass whoopin' you got.

So the 9ers are 0-1 on the road. What's your point again? thaaaat's right, you ain't got one.

71-16 now piss off, cause you aren't here to find out any info, or to have a serious conversation, you are only here to start shit. We are concentrating on the next game, we will see you guys again, but we will be bringing Harvin, Clemmons, Browner, Hill, next time. While you will only be adding what Manningham (he is so scary) bye bye troll.

Judy and Rich, I wish I could say it was nice to meet you, but I'd be lying. I have never, and will never, have respect for folks who cheer for their team, but don't know jack shit about the rest of the league. Especially when they are like you.

Until the last two seasons, the Niners sucked on the road too. In fact, it's really weird, every team in the league usually wins less on the road. Do the Hawks have a greater advantage at home than most teams? Hell yeah.

As far as your neutral site bullshit, the Super Bowl was played at a neutral site, how did that go?

All of us here know what really prompted your whine. You are scared shitless your team will have to play in Seattle in the playoffs.

The team's form on the road isn't bad. They've won 4 of the last 5 road games, the one loss coming in the final 30 seconds of the divisional round of the playoffs in Atlanta. I kind of agree with your premise in that I'm sure the Seahawks would have won that game at home, but as far as I can see, all teams tend to be better at home than on the road.

It's a stupid question, most teams are better at home. Come December, we'll find out how good they are, when they knock the snot out of the Niners, again.

We've fared better on the road than San Fran has over the last 5 games. No one in the media is on the fence about Seattle. We are 1/2 on EVERY power poll out there. Quit trolling.

The seahawks are so good at home that Skip Bayless is a Huge Idiot will not pick against them at home for the rest of the season.

Or haven't you heard?
