I was at work and I could not watch the game. How did Wagner perform?
Arguably, Hawks made the wrong decision. The front office should have traded Bobby, and I love Bobby, a season or two early. We could have gotten some return instead of releasing with no return. It looked to me like the Seahawks had made the right decision in not bringing Wagner back, but it's just one game.
There were a couple of times when Allen took advantage of Wagner not being useful in coverage. There was a nice running play on which Wagner was blocked out of the way very well by an offensive lineman.
And there was this play, which I'm posting as a link (click here!) because the preview says the video can't be shown here. It's Wagner vs. Allen in the open field. Wagner gets his arms around Allen, but Allen keeps going and gets the ball across the goal line.
Are you joking? No one would pay this guy 18 milArguably, Hawks made the wrong decision. The front office should have traded Bobby, and I love Bobby, a season or two early. We could have gotten some return instead of releasing with no return.
No one? at least one?Are you joking? No one would pay this guy 18 mil
No. Or else they would have offered him closer to 18m to sign him.No one? at least one?
Couldn't he worth more 2 years ago?No. Or else they would have offered him closer to 18m to sign him.
And he's not choosing LA over $8M. $10M was his highest market.
He was probably overpaid then too. I think his cap hit was $16m in 2021. Maybe somebody takes a shot for a low draft pick but it would have been a salary dump type move from Seattle imoCouldn't he worth more 2 years ago?
It's hard finding old contract details but from what I gather the dead cap would have been about 7-8M, but maybe more.Would there have a been a big dead money cap hit had Bobby been traded a couple of years ago?
Do you honestly believe anyone would have stopped Allen there?
