I didn't notice Geno running for his life so I'm guessing he had another good game. Anyone else pay closer attention than me?

Lost my connection to nfl games so I don't get to watch live anymore. But from what I was able to see Olu did a bangup job despite the void to either side of him. We HAVE to get improved play from the guard spots if we want to run the ball.
Sidenote: I saw Geno give Lucas the evil eye in the huddle after one botched 4 qtr play in the game. We can get better than we are and I love seeing how all the guys are embracing the process.

That's good to hear, thank you. I'm really hoping Olu is the answer at Center so we only have to worry about finding 2 guards versus 2 guards AND a center.

Geno was being hounded pretty good in the first half, but they settled in during the second. I thought Olu did fine.

I think part of that was Bradford getting hurt and having Haynes come in for an extended period of time. He's been in before but not like this. Will take him a little time to gel and get up to speed getting reps with the 1's 100%

He's a pro. He has his physical limitations in terms of mass and sand in his pants, but counters those limitations with excellent technique, intelligence, and tenacity.

Center is a position where you can carve out a really nice career for yourself with physical limitations if you have all the other stuff in spades. Jeff Saturday is probably the best modern day example of someone who played C at sub-300 lbs, went undrafted due to his physical shortcomings, was cut by the Ravens during his UDFA offseason, and started two games as a 24 year old rookie.

Olu can be a long-term answer who will likely have to consistently fend off internal competition from players that the front office deems to be more physically capable. I'm rooting for him, he's proven himself to be up the task at every step so far; might just be one of those athletes who refuses to be denied.
