She was happy to give him bad news. She's a bitch. End of story. Even my Broncos fan friend that was over today watching the game with me agreed, and it's not like he's a Seahawks fan.

100% agree 45.
It was as much nonsense as Krappernick the bus rider, wearing sound blocker head phones during a make believe bunch of out of control Seahawks fans, throwing shit at his bus window.
Absolute Crap.
As for how Pam Oliver?, she was doing nothing unbiased, or newsworthy, and should be avoided by the Seahawks Coaches from now on?, keep it short Pete, and tell everyone else in the club to do the same.

You guys are such great, biased Seahawks fans. Joe Buck was lauding the Seahawks the ENTIRE game for their physicality and talent. Sure, they lauded the 49ers too. But I guarantee you that some 49er fans are currently sitting on their couches griping about the EXACT same thing we are...that both the announcers and the refs had hard-ons for the Seahawks and that the world as we know it is coming to an end.

Buck hate the 49ers, and the SF Giants too. And Aikman has no love for the 49ers that is for sure. The only person who hates the 49ers more than Buck and Aikman is Collinsworth.

She suffers from narcisism. Quite common in her industry. Believe me, we wouldn't be the only ones to notice her glaring "look at me" commentary and I'm sure she was spoken of at the network today. Like the tool Stephan A., when a reporter makes themselves part of the story, or bigger than the story, their desperation becomes apparent and their days consquently numbered. Worse... she's ugly.

So you disagree that the Oliver comment was weird? What was the relevance of her comment? Maybe I'm wrong but I got the distinct impression that she got a kick out of that. Totally out of place when it come to talking about an injury.

I think it might well have been a trip of the tongue, words chosen incorrectly in the spur of the moment. They're paid to handle this job well, but those who don't do public speaking for a living might be surprised how often your brain is rolling and just...chooses a word or phrase that completely bungles your meaning.

Or she's a bitch.

Re: Oliver talking to the refs about flagging physical play.

To me, a game reporter asking the officiating staff if they're going to call certain things that one team is allegedly "known to do" crosses the line. It also seemed very strange to me that Buck and Aikman were pushing the "will the they call defensive holding?" narrative really hard, and by sheer coincidence, it was called several times throughout this game. I doubt these conversations were had with ill-intent, but who's to say what role that seed of doubt played once planted?

But whatever. It is what it is.

Davidseven's comment brings up another question. Aikmen kept saying that lob would push it until the officials called it. In the fourth they mentioned that we had dropped the bump and run. The jam at the line is legal though so why conseed the free release?
As far as Pam Oliver goes I don't think she gets what she is saying. They might as well put the girls from the view out there in her place.

She's a reporter, and outside of Seattle, fans think the LOB gets away with stuff and in some cases they do. She is merely asking a question that non Hawk fans would be interested in. I say she was pretty clever to do that. Got us talking, no?

The only people I see bitching about it is SF fans and coaches. No other coaching staffs mention it and no other fan bases bitch incessantly about it. If you watch cornerbacks cover from other teams (including the 49ers), they are doing the same things and getting away with it.

It was not her job to ask the officials about that and I have a huge problem with her even having access to the officials before the game. It did seem like the narrative that fox wanted to push for some reason.

This comment bugged the sh*t out of me. It did seem to come out with a bit of glee. Add in that for the life of me, after 30+ years of watching football I can't recall a comment like that being made.

It definitely crossed the line.

Anybody have a link? I only watched all the good plays of the game when I got home and deleted it right after Willson's TD.

Bugged me too. I guess she got a concussion from that. I wonder how long it took her to get cleared to get back on the sideline. Sorry Pam.

Just proof that you can't even knock the ugly out of some people.

I don't like the "#1" broadcast team from Fox at all. I don't know if they are biased or not. But I do know they are very negative. Ever notice in Aikman's world that its usually about somebody making a bad play? For every comment praising a play there are 5 or 6 talking about who f**ked up. It gets on my nerves after a while. A knockdown of a pass is likely to get a comment on "he got away with a hold there", instead of "nice coverage on that play". All in all I find him condescending and he comes across with a superior attitude. Would it kill him to give more credit and less criticism?
